Anti MLM/ Network marketing thread NUMBER 43!!

Spongebobette · 29/09/2018 18:17

This is the 43rd thread in a long series about the dangers of network marketing/ MLMs such as Forever Living, Ariix, NuSkin, Arbonne, Younique, TS Life, and MANY MANY more!
Posts here will give examples of the lies told by 'top bots' who portray luxury lifestyles in order to lure in new victims and of the other techniques and brainwashing used by MLMs
Over 90% of people who join an MLM end up LOSING money. Always bear that in mind when considering paying money to join!

FL UK's accounts have been submitted and will be available within 5 days! 🎊

ArbunneHun · 01/10/2018 08:57

I’ve said for a long time that the MLM business model is a high-profit, low-risk venture for the owners. Think about it: you have nothing to worry about. Your unpaid volunteers are both your sales force and your customer base, you have no employer/HR/payroll obligations, no marketing investment, your product doesn’t have to look good or be competitively priced... the list goes on.

Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 09:11

It's a really clever model. Those who ACTUALLY own the business are protected from pretty much all risks. Those who THINK they are business owners take all the risks.

Full accounts will take 5 days to be processed.

This does not make me feel happy.

Paddy1234 · 01/10/2018 10:41

Hardly any of the profit is filtered back into the country's economy either except for the few high earners. All in the hands of one family. And I won't make a comment on THAT family.

Paddy1234 · 01/10/2018 11:03

Wow just looked and Welsh number 3 and Castle don't seem like they have qualified so the assumption that Uber is going as speaker or just a figurehead does seem plausible.
Looks like there will be quite a few sponsoring there way to Stockholm and very few cheques next year.

Paddy1234 · 01/10/2018 12:38

The single make at No4 doesn't seem like he is going as well - another bot from different country asked him a few days ago on a post and it was never replied to by him #sinking ship - Uber looks like she is going just to show a face. It must be pretty frightening to the other countries on an upwards trajectory to see the fall of the UK

Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 13:17

My goodness they must think their bots are thick!

As far as I can work it out, you have to flog (or buy) hundreds of pounds worth of Aloe gloop, recruit at least 2 new victims - one of whom has to recruit a victim AND they have to flog (buy) a lot of gloop

AND ALL YOU GET AS A PRIZE IS TWO TICKETS TO A BRAINWASHING EVENT

In an expensive country
With food/ hotel to pay for yourself.
With 250 quid towards travel (for 2 people? To Stockholm??)

Where do I sign up 🤣🤣🤣🤣

Give me strength

Wow. Has that always been the case, or has something changed. Im sure they all used to bang on about free hotels and spending money?

Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 15:03

I think if you qualify for the Global Rally you get flights and spending money, according to your level of qualification. But no food.

Presumably this is an incentive for lower down bots who wouldn't qualify

@Doratheexplorer am I right?

Tax Bot, you know, the one whose company is in liquidation, more info on the insolvency is online.

She is currently paying £500 per month to pay off the overdrawn directors account, which goes straight to HMRC.

In April/May 2019 she is expecting circa £10,000 which will be contributed towards the debt. That is obviously what she is expecting as a chairman's bonus. They will they see if the monthly payments can be raised.

MLMsuperfan · 01/10/2018 18:55

The latest episode of The Dream podcast is really good. They join a makeup MLM.

Whiterangey · 01/10/2018 19:10

Is utility warehouse an MLM?

Two knocks at my door in under a week. The first time was at about 8pm, tonight was at 6:50pm. He said he may already have been round but he lost his list of which homes he had knocked at.

Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 19:19

I believe so

user1484830599 · 01/10/2018 19:41

What an advertisement for a 'professional' service Grin lost his list?!

Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 20:08

There are 7 qualifying Eagles from the Uk, no Castle or Uber but their sisters are the level above and the original number one (who exploits Africans these days) outranks them all

OP posts:
Spongebobette · 01/10/2018 20:09

Can’t imagine why Uber is going

Thanks Dora

I found the list by going to the FL page run by BP the boss and scrolled through his pictures

I’ve noticed a few bots making trips to Sweden, it must be a growing market

I always thought Uber was a higher rank than a Sapphire manager..her bonus cheque a couple of years ago was for £600 grand, just how much of that gunk do you have to flog/recruit victims to get to a Double diamond manager? The mind boggles..

Truckingonandon · 01/10/2018 22:01

I've never posted on these threads before but have dipped in and out of reading them. I've become interested in the whole thing due to a previously good friend 'joining' a MLM company and seeing her go through the most remarkable transformation and not in a good way either. I am genuinely perplexed by it. She used to be a sane, sensible, rational type with a good job earning good money. Somehow, she got embroiled in this MLM and she now spouts unutterable bollocks that make my toes curl up in embarrassment. It's all Huns, ladyboss, babeboss, empowerment, finding your inner femininity blar blar bullshit. Everyone who knows her just can't understand how she's completely changed and she has distanced herself from all her old friends and surrounds herself now with all these other CEOs of global bossbabe enterprises. It's like she's been brainwashed by a cult.

cozietoesie · 01/10/2018 22:39

You said it, I fear.
