"I can't believe these results from a toothpaste after three days" with a before and after photo, not of the person's own teeth oF course.

Followed by the inevitable "omg hun what did you use?" replies and info offered via pm.

This is one of my close friends and inevitably she will try to get me interested. Anyone know what the product is so I can be ready for her with reasons why I would rather eat my own hair? Youique?

Eyespying · 09/07/2015 10:37

Marthasharbour - Often in life, it's your real friends who tell you the truth: no matter how painful this might be.

Thus, although it remains a possibility that trinitybleu is genuinely unaware of what she has become involved with, it is also a possibilty that trinitybleu is not at all what she appears to be.

'MLM' infiltration of Internet forums has been going on for a very long time and you have only been looking at 'MLM' for a very short time

MarthasHarbour · 09/07/2015 10:48

evilharpy it is probably FL toothpaste. I have had those same teeth grinning at me for weeks on my FB feed Grin

Peacheykeen · 09/07/2015 10:50

Evilharpy it sounds like your friend is trying to flog you The Aloe paste whitening gel (forever living) it's " amazeballs hun even my dentist mentioned how great my teeth looked" apparently lol.

Peacheykeen · 09/07/2015 10:54

Just cross post with Martha Grin isn't it weird how they all recite the exact same bullshit on a daily basis my FLbot is getting her nails done a tan and wax before off to giving a talk to potential suckers " having a bit of leisure time before a jam packed day of meetings with like minded motivated people who are interested in what I do " ... Oh piss off

Hoppinggreen · 09/07/2015 11:01

Ok, now I'm pissed off eyespying
So MLM's racketeering is beyond the understanding of the average person is it? So that's me presumably? You are beyond rude and quite frankly are now starting to sound like a swivel eyed loon who has nothing better do than sit in the spare bedroom of their parents house and search the web for conspiracy theories and stick newspaper clippings to your wall.
We get that MLM's are bad, you are getting no argument from us but it would be great if you could just F off now and not totally dominate and ruin this thread like you did the last one.
You are seriously over invested in this - I'm sorry if your Granny/cousin/neighbours dog got sucked into a MLM scam and lost everything but it would be lovely if you could take your patronising attitude and find another place to practice your copy and paste skills.

evilharpy · 09/07/2015 11:07

Thanks Peachy and Martha, forewarned is forearmed!

trinitybleu · 09/07/2015 11:37

Thanks for the supportive messages - would add that I have been here for at least 7 years, possibly more all under the same username. Am sure MNHQ would confirm, if required.

And in no way am I an unthinking dreamer or unaware of what I have got involved with ... I did a lot of reasearch and as I am not indoctrinated, spouting Y at all times, posting those stupid memes, or signing up all and sundry, I think I am safe for now, thanks.

Eyespying · 09/07/2015 12:01

Hoppinggreen - What are we all: other than average people?

I once took virtually the same attitude to older and wiser observers (who, for personal reasons, invested a lot of time trying to understand and explain the full danger of the cult phenomenon), that you are now taking to me.

When one woman (who lost her eldest daughter in 'Scientology' for 20 years) tried to tell me that cultism was a widely-misunderstood phenomenon and completey beyond the understanding of most ordinary people, I initially dissmissed her as patronising. However, unlike you, I didn't tell her to f... off, and she remains a close friend of mine to this day.

You have demonstrated why it's very rare for me to participate in Internet forums and why I will probably withdraw from this one.

Hoppinggreen · 09/07/2015 12:12

So you are older and wiser than me now?
Perhaps its not that we don't understand, perhaps it's just simply that you are dull and patronising and unable to understand that you are alienating people who actually agree with you?
To be honest you are perpetuating the myth that anyone who attacks MLM organisations is unhinged and doing your cause quite a bit of damage, which is a shame really because the basis of your argument is sound. Perhaps you are the one working undercover for Amway or whoever rather than trinity?

Anyway, as you yourself suggest you should probably withdraw from the Forum but that's (unfortunately) not my call.

Hoppinggreen · 09/07/2015 12:14

Aaanyyyyhoo
My FL Bot has spent the morning getting her hair and nails done and is now sitting outside " working" with obligatory laptop

well said hoppinggreen

Eyespying · 09/07/2015 13:15

Hoppinggreen - To my regret, I'm certainly older than you, and there are some areas which I am certainly wiser than you in, but I'm equally certain your are far wiser than me in many other areas.

I'm presuming that you are a well-educated person.

I've kept inviting everyone on this thread to contact me directly, because this forum is not an approriate place for my thoughts. You might be very surprised. I am someone with a wide field of interests.

My written approach to cultism might seem 'dull,' because I'm basing my approach on my own technical analysis of what is ultimately a disturbing psychological phenomenon, but which also encompasses various other academic disciplines (economics, law, history, myth legend, religion, etc). I actually think that one day the study of totalitarian cultism might be considered as a separate academic discipline in itself.

I'm not trying to be entertaining or treat MN members with kid gloves. I'm just trying to tell you the truth. In fact, I'm doing completely the reverse of patronizing you, but messengers who bring bad news often risk getting shot.

I'm explaining that it's the instigators (and adherents) of cultic groups who are 'unhinged,' but I'm geting accused of being 'unhinged' for explaining this. Strangely, you understand this part of my anlaysis.

Hoppinggreen · 09/07/2015 13:28

Yawn

Eyespying · 09/07/2015 13:32

Hoppinggreen - Well at least that's an improvement on f* off.

TheNameIWantedIsTaken · 09/07/2015 14:55

Hopping I very much agree with you here but I don't get the impression that eyespying will ever hear, nor ever realise the true level of intellect many of us possess. Just leave him to it and we will continue with our anecdotes over the patronising backdrop of his posts.

Tiredemma · 09/07/2015 17:12

God today.

Multiple posts of people in the garden with a laptop.

bore off.

lazycoo · 09/07/2015 18:35

Definitely a laptop day. The FL don was at it too.

trinitybleu · 09/07/2015 19:18

Meanwhile, I spent 3 hours in meetings with TUPE / employment lawyers, sold nothing .... And loved it! Wink

TalcumMucker · 09/07/2015 19:40

No laptop shot here, but a quote from Wes Linden instead. Looking into who he was I came across his website www.weslinden.com for all your network marketing needs!

Hoppinggreen · 09/07/2015 20:13

Agreed thename i really shouldn't rise to it .
In the meantime my FL bot is apparently In the " number 1 team"
No idea if that's number 1 in her town, county, country or own imagination

lastuseraccount123 · 09/07/2015 20:44

My FLbot had forever living honey, some drink power shite, and a piece of fruit for breakfast.

lastuseraccount123 · 09/07/2015 21:02

Hi trinity thanks for answering my questions. I have some more but no problem if you're done explaining Younique/don't know.

you said:
PRS is transparent. 1 PRS = 1 US dollar. Easy to work out.

Okay, cool. I just couldn't find that on the website but maybe I didn't look carefully enough. Can you link me to where it is? Also, does PRS = gross sales or net sales after taxes, business costs etc?

You need to sell a minimum amount every 3 months to keep your account active, but if you go inactive there's no penalties and you just email in to ask for reactivation at any point.

Sounds good, but do you know what happens to your downline if you go inactive? My S&D friend failed to make her minimum amount and lost her 'team' to her upline, so she'd basically had have to have started again from scratch. You have seven team members right? do you know what would happen to them?

Car incentive is only just been launched, but is paid as cash not a lease plan. One lady has bought a plane with hers.

yeah, but you have to do a lot of recruiting to get it.

I don't know why they don't just sell it direct - I'd think it's more expensive in the start up phase so it's a way of getting out there with lower costs.

I wonder.
