wtg lily !!!

Will you email? I will if you don't want to. Then I will document what the response is.

Peacheykeen · 21/07/2015 17:40

I hate what they call that sample basket " pulps" yuk! I remember when. Flbot started her "business" and someone asked her if it was like Avon her upline stormed in and put " no these products are far more superior" Twat!

Peacheykeen · 21/07/2015 17:41

pupps

LilyAlpha · 21/07/2015 17:53

Lastuser U may have better luck than I suspect I would in complaining to FL, judging by the rep's laxadaisical manner. Betty, Trading Standards & watchdog might be the way to go. Though I do remember eye spying saying Trading Standards were pretty toothless @ cracking down on MLM's, but perhaps with enough outcry, something could be done & @ the very least worrying situation highlighted & exposed.

fishboneschokus · 21/07/2015 17:54

I am trying to be positive.

I suuuuppppooooose, if one had a wealthy partner and a circle of wealthy friends,.... No, still can't see it. It doesn't look fun.

I think these little hobby careers can be fun and sociable, but not financially viable.

Peachy, Yh so superior someone that allegedly worked in FL plant posted this on some complaints board:

Sorry to break it to you but level of scam involved in Forever Living is deep in their manufacturing level. They scam everybody every time they come up with a "new" product. I know because I worked there. Think about it, the work that it takes to come up with a "health" product, all the trials that are involved to make sure that the claims are valid, that the product is safe and it works...and these people launch 4 products every year??? That is because they knock off everybody else's product mixed with Aloe Vera. Clever! not so fast, they perform very weak trials amongst their executive committee which often results in stability data being collected after they launched the product. In one occasion when they were about to launch their calcium tablet it would not dissolve sending one of their executives to the hospital with an acute case of appendicitis caused by the undissolved calcium pills. They never conduct research on anything, the owner sees something he likes, sends it to the lab to get it replicated and throw some aloe in there and voila! they have a new "forever blah blah blah" Super expensive crap manufactured by abused mexican employees in their Dallas plant. They are smart though, they are careful that they dont put any claims on their labeling that might get them in too much trouble, they have a big dictionary to change around words. Their fish oil caps? a scam. Their Sonys line? sucks, it comes from this crappy company out of Ontario with the ugliest colors cheaply made. Their employees joke that they dont use anything they make. The OSHA safety report? look it up. About the only nice thing I can say about their plant is that it looks clean, and this is because they constantly have visitors. Their manufacturing sucks because their numbers never add up, their packaging sucks because the production department is ran by a derelict without a degree with delirium tremens...
I would stick with good ol' Avon...

bettyberry · 21/07/2015 18:13

LilyAlpha I did notice the IACS label they stick on things... guess who was/is on their board?

Forever living owner.

Not so independent way of saying their aloe is 'pure'

LilyAlpha · 21/07/2015 18:35

Fishbones, when it comes to Fl, I'd recommend bingo instead

LilyAlpha · 21/07/2015 18:40

Betty, Ha now there's a surprise *shakes head

bettyberry · 21/07/2015 18:47

Bingo you have a realistic chance of winning big(ish) with a small initial outlay and guaranteed fun without p*ing off your friends to boot! oh and you can do it when the kids are in bed.. winner ;)

LilyAlpha · 21/07/2015 19:13

lol, safer bet!

MaryLennox84 · 21/07/2015 19:48

I'm back to answer some more of the questions raised. I was at work, so I wasn't able to respond earlier.

  1. Is there evidence that FL has terminated someone?

I have no idea. I don't work in the "high up" so I don't have access to that information. I imagine it would be private?

  1. Why do you wish people who are conning others well?

I don't see where the con is? Perhaps I'm an idiot, but I researched the company quite well before I started. The claims that it is a con are really far reaching. "They claim you'll make a lot of money with no effort!" (It literally says on the contract in bold that you should not be misled to think high salaries come with little effort.) "They claim you can cure diseases!" (Some FL people may do that because they're idiots, but it also says in the company policies and contract to tell customers to see a doctor before taking internal pills. The website also clearly states that nothing is intended to cure. Before I started the Clean 9, my sponsor told me not to do it because I have lupus until I consulted a doctor. I am truly sorry to the person who was told you can be cured from Stage 4 cancer...however, I was told by someone from Loughborough Uni that I could be cured of lupus and go off my meds from eating the paleo diet and that I just didn't want a lupus cure bad enough...so all of Loughborough is a scam?). "Your upline is clearly lying to you!" (So the woman in my upline who received $30,000 at the last conference is lying when I saw her check? The people I know who were working 50+ hours a week who then quit their job to do Forever and don't speak to their parents are lying? Where is the money coming from then? Outer space?) "I doubt they tell anyone to join in the free option in the US!" (Actually, since I have a lot of family and friends in the UK, I was advised to let people join for free if they want...even if they just want to get the bulk discount. I have done that and a few family members like the products and just order from themselves. I don't pressure them to sell.)

It seems a lot that is posted here is not even researched and yet you expect me to take your word for it and just up and quit FL because you "know" better than me...especially when people start asking questions as if they know like, "Why can't you purchase direct from FL if it is so great?" (You can, which has already been demonstrated.) "This is the US version! Where is the UK version?" (A simple Google search of UK company policies yields you this, which is very similar in statements made gallery.foreverliving.com/gallery/GBR/download/Policies/CompanyPolicySept2012.pdf). "I can't find a phone number to complain about a distributor! They are SO not transparent!" The number is pretty transparently placed under "Contact us" on the Forever Living website and it is 01926-626-600. I found that in about 10 seconds.

I am not sure why you have to pay to join in the UK but not the US. I am not a solicitor so I don't know the laws. It is the same company though obviously this is a British law for some reason. If you're so upset about it, then call the number I just gave you and ask.

MaryLennox84 · 21/07/2015 19:56

Also, someone claiming you have to continue to recruit in order to keep your job even if you have a lot of money...that is not necessarily true. You do need to remain "active" by selling a certain amount of product, but if you make enough, you could probably just buy it.

Although some of you think the products are s**y just because you don't like MLM, I would have never started in this company if I didn't believe in the products. I have seen my energy boost and felt a lot healthier since I began. I also use the products on my face and it has reduced acne and I use the shampoo on my dog and he has seen a tremendous reduction in itching. However, I am not claiming this is some kind of medical miracle or anything has been cured, I'm just sharing what's worked for me. Like I said, I would not have come on board had I used the products and thought they were awful or substandard. Many people I know messaged me to tell me they have used them in the past but their distributor quit and were glad I was distributing so they could buy off of me.

But, I do get embarrassed to try and sell the products, mainly because I know a lot of people (before they even try them or know anything about the company) are like, "OMG it's MLM! What an idiot she is to buy into it. The products must be substandard and overpriced. I am WAY too smart to fall for something like this. SO EMBARRASSING!"

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:18

Hi mary, when I click on your link: gallery.foreverliving.com/gallery/GBR/download/Policies/CompanyPolicySept2012.pdf%29

I get "object not found!"

I found it difficult to find the FL main website because, like I said, there are multiple websites run by independent distributors in the UK. A simple google search will show you what I mean.

I really don't care whether you are part of FL or not. What I do care about is that we still don't know how much an average distributor makes in the UK per year less business expenses and taxes oh, and how much time they spend on it, and without those FACTS people are getting sucked into this thinking they can make easy $$$ - people who can't afford it. Note: you haven't been able to answer that question.

As for not researched - ha, hahaha. You've made claims and have shown nothing, niente, nada to back them up. The rest of us have found links and screenshots to back up what we're saying, including their training methods, how they train people to set up FB pages, the 80% "lifestyle" 20% "FL" rule on FB pages, etc. etc. Y

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:20

you claimed people are fired for misrepresentation: no proof

you claimed people make money: no proof

you claim the products work on you: no proof, anecdotal evidence, same as any other FLBot

I could go on but I can't be arsed.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:25

Mary, do keep up. LIly did call the company and complain. The next step is email.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:27

you said

You do need to remain "active" by selling a certain amount of product, but if you make enough, you could probably just buy it.

right. so FL makes money by selling you stuff. Yup.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:29

I would like to see FL products on Amazon or ebay for sale with reviewers giving honest responses about them, not FLbots who want to sell it to you or recruit you to their team.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:29

i lied. i can be arsed. Grin

MaryLennox84 · 21/07/2015 20:31

Links and screenshots to independent distributors and people who are clearly in violation of the contract they have signed.

The proof is in the company contract that you can be fired for it. You can call them up and let me know if they have fired people, I don't know if it's been followed through on.

They are beauty and health products....the same as any other beauty and health products for people and animals they will work on some people and won't on others. Why don't you try them and then come back and let me know.

Search Forever Living Website and Forever Living's website is the first one that comes up. I don't get the confusion?

gallery.foreverliving.com/gallery/GBR/download/Policies/CompanyPolicySept2012.pdf There is the company policy.

The only proof you'll accept that people make money is other people's pay stubs. Sorry, I don't feel comfortable asking someone for their pay stub and can they please upload it so so people on the Internet will believe they make money.

Can you upload your pay stub so you can prove you make money at your job? Otherwise, no proof and it is just anecdotal and you're probably lying.

BromleyGal · 21/07/2015 20:32

Can I ask - in the nicest possible way - what qualifies you, or any of the other FL distributors, to sell healthcare products Mary?

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:36

nice try mary but no.

I am not promising other people that they can make money by joining my MLM Lastuseraccount123's Aloe Shite!!

Since I'm not, I have nothing to prove.

FL however, does.

Again, a statement of average earnings in the UK, less expenses etc in big 24pt Arial Bold on the front page is all it would take.

Oh, and pimp those products on Amazon!

you're welcome.

MaryLennox84 · 21/07/2015 20:37

Also, how could any company LEGALLY continue if no one was making money? I don't really get it.

lastuseraccount123 · 21/07/2015 20:40

oh, and for anyone reading, the contract is 59 pages long and in eeny writing. Classic, because most people don't read them - which I'm sure they know.

If they were truly concerned about the rampant misreprsentation of their products maybe they could require each distributor to put this on their website

FOREVER LIVING ALOE PRODUCTS AND ROYAL JELLY HAVE NOT BEEN SCIENTIFICALLY PROVEN TO CURE CANCER, ARTHRITIS, OR ANY OTHER ILLNESS, ETC ETC

in say 36pt ARIAL BOLD ALL CAPS. Right there.

And, say, publically fire a few FL distributors who lie and apologize.

done.

Hoppinggreen · 21/07/2015 20:46

Some people are making money - the people right at the top!!!
