Lily, that's awful. Reminds me of when a family member was diagnosed with terminal cancer. A 'friend' got in touch, urging me to tell them about a water purifying system which would save their lives. I politely told them to feck off, but they definitely held it against me (and probably blamed me for the subsequent death of someone I loved very much). Actually, I have held it against them too - totally inappropriate imo.

arthritis

i've been trying to find a FL UK website for the company, as opposed to a distributor, but it's hard. Can't find any way to complain either.

so so far it's been implied that:

FL Aloe lead to some guy's cancer going into remission
FL lead to a lady's arthritis going into remission
FL cured a kid's exczema

and royal jelly fixes basically everything.

Bromley, totally inappropriate AND downright rude imo. Seizing opportunities like that, to sell wares. Shame, alone would prevent me from even thinking about stopping so low *blood boils. Rant over lol

Anyhow, it's good to know that Forever Living products cure stage 4 cancer and arthritis....you know, just in case I, or any of my loved ones, suffer in the future.

wrt lastuseacct123s cancer ad (well spotted!) this should be illegal under the cancer act of 1939 en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cancer_Act_1939 but I'm sure the ad is cleverly worded, grrr

At least she mentioned that he changed his diet and had chemo too. But of course it would be the Aloe Vera that cured his cancer, medical research just hasn't caught up with FL yet...

Lastuser, would love to know the FL complaints no. * rubs hands & does evil villain laugh , but I doubt they have one lol. A bit like Google, everywhere but strangely evasive when it comes to contact

Sooo....out of curiousity I called no. Selected compliance option & spoke to rep called "Gemma". Was told to make a complaint re. Misselling & making false representations, I should email with any evidence & screenshots of offending material to wait for itdrum roll: [email protected]. In other words, put something in writing, where it might warrant a cursory glance & then be confined to the admin's inbox's trash bin

Xenu1 I don't think its a raygun, thats a bit too start trek for FLbots. its much more likely to be fairy dust, cosmic rays and unicorn butt rainbows.

LilyAlpha - make a complaint via BBC watchdog or other such companies. It would make great TV not to mention your local trading standards. These 'businesses' still come under them.
