I have been watching this thread with interest, having done a little googling myself, after a 'friend' signed up to this... thing! She tried to get me involved and I'm pretty hard nut to crack and research everything (read a complete bore Wink ). It has only just started but already I've been asked to join groups, buy stuff and a constant stream of status updates. GAH!

I'm guessing its going to get much worse because she is already the #lovemyfamily #lovemykids always behind the camera taking family photos and sharing them instantly. Even sharing a dirty nappy 'oh boys!' Hmm

Thank you for a) making me laugh a lot! b) realise there are so many like this out there and c) Flobot

bettyberry · 18/07/2015 18:32

just to add
I also have a juice plus lady. She keeps tagging people in posts she thinks could lose weight.
A make up artist who despises the younique brand and business model having come across people trying to sell it to her to sell onto her clients. Not cool.
The Forever living lady. So many levels of ugh.
My child's school runs pampered chef nights, I do not think this a good use of school facilities but the PTA does what the PTA wants.
Also have a lady who makes those glittery glasses someone mentioned earlier along with Avon, Jamie Oliver and Ann summers. She combines all 3 if requested. I'm not quite sure how you can sell dildo's along side a salad spinner ... There must be a pun in there somewhere ... but she does. Either it works or she needs to do all 3 to make enough to pay the bills :/

bettyberry

More than sixty years of evidence, proves that anyone claiming (or implying) that it is possible for the average person to generate an overall net-profit out of any so-called 'MLM scheme' (including 'The Pampered Chef' which is owned by Warren Buffett's 'Berkshire Hathaway') is not telling the truth.

Tellingly, there are certain common-sense questions (appertaining to 'Pampered Chef' and 'MLM'), which even the great Warren Buffett has declined to answer.

Last those are amazing! I'm so tempted to post the FL one on my timeline...

bettyberry · 18/07/2015 21:47

Don't worry ladies. I shall share their 'glory'. I haven't liked the pages through fear of being targeted to become a consultants!

You wouldn't believe it has already started. Trying to bring on new people before a sale has been made.

' If there is anything you like the look of, just drop me a message and I can give you more product information, and info on how to purchase.
Once a week I am hoping to spotlight a product so please keep your eye's peeled for my first one coming up.
I am also looking for people to join me on my journey. If your looking for something new, something different, and a little to a lot of extra pennies. Again just drop me a message and I can give you a ton of information.
As we are new around here if you could give this page a quick share to anyone you think could benefit from the products, that would be great.'

'caring is sharing'

So glad I researched FL before accepting!

foreverindenial · 18/07/2015 23:08

phew! just got through both the fascinating FL threads.

I really lothe this company and what it does to people and since reading this thread it making me realise its more sinister than i thought.

I have a FB FLbot who has been in for around 2 years. She has posted literally every quote, dream, patronizing statement, boast that has been written on this thread. She has reached a pretty high 'level' in FL and now 'trains' others
What gets me are the boasts - so many posts with photos of pay checks, or saying how much money she has now and how she can afford this and that. Since when did anyone think it was ok in Britain be incredibly boastful about money are earnings to friends / family / strangers??

She has had pictures with the bald guy, been on every success, recognition day (success express the call them) and been on a 'holiday' abroad. She posts lots of faking it until you make it posts of her having a great lifestyle. She refers to her unborn baby as an aloe baby and has dressed her kids in tshirts with forever logos and slogans saying my mum works from home and i love it i am recruiting ask me how. :-( reading this thread was like reading back all her FB posts.

She is going on holiday soon (a present from the company) but is leaving her 4 young children at home - one of which will be under 3 months old. She has 'sacked the boss' and is getting her husband to do the same. (poor husband has also been subjected to C9 and had his before and after pics posted with a miserable face)

Pay rises of hundreds every month with comments from others saying wow and she comments back keeping it up saying i know its crazy?! it pays the bills for the whole month just the pay rise!
I dont get it - she really didnt seem the sort of person to bare faced lie? but anyone with a brain can see this is total crap!

One sinister quote is from Abraham lincoln 'i am a success today because i had a friend who believed in me and i didnt have the heart to let him down'

'Success isnt what you accomplish in your life its what you inspire others to do'
Are you really living life or are you just paying bills until you die
'join my team, change your life' what a wonderful thought it is that the best days of out life havent happened yet. Dream big start small act now. I think all these quotes get send out to the flbots regularly.

Its very cultish and all the cult pointers are so relevant to this company.

I could go on all night about the many many levels of wrongness in FL

Eyespying · 19/07/2015 07:27

foreverindenial - Did you know that the term, 'Mafia,' comes from the old Siciallian word, 'mafiosi,' which translates as, 'those who boast and swagger?'

I wonder how many people there are in Britain, like you, who have seen the radical personality transformations provoked by so-called 'MLM' companies, like 'FLP,' and who have understood that these are self-perpetuating cults, like 'Scientology', the 'Moonies,' etc., but dressed up as kitsch 'direct selling businesses,' so that they can hide in plain sight?

Are you aware that although most cosmopolitan British people readily accept that cults exist, legalistically they do not. Currently, there is no UK government agency tasked with gathering intelligence about cults, let alone tackling the problem.

If you wanted to file an official complaint about a cultic racket like 'FLP,' there is no where for you to go in Britain. Indeed, police officers are just as likely as anyone to fall victim. In fact they are probably more-likely. There isn't even anti-racketeering legislation in the UK. Yet more British citizens have been temporarily enslaved, and robbed, by foreign-based 'MLM' racketeers than by any other form of latter-day criminogenic cultism, and the problem has lately got worse.

Notice also, the almost total absence of the mainstream media.
