trinity , you know what your situation with regard to sales etc and you don't need to justify yourself here.
This thread and a previous one have been repeatedly hijacked by someone who feels very passionately about mlm's - and with good cause to be fair.
However, unless you enjoy increasingly patronising lectures I really wouldn't engage!!!!

Eyespying · 13/07/2015 10:23

Pardon me for continuing to doubt the (anything but unique) 'Younique' fairy story, but all anyone seriously wanting to obtain 'Younique' products has to do, is go to the Internet where they can find a growing mountain of the stuff for sale, and at knock down prices.

I have wonderful news - i have a new FLBot Grin

It is someone i hid for a while as her posts were pretty dull, looking back she has been selling for about 3 months and she is really SHIT at it!! Her piccies are of poor quality, they are too small, lots of 'do you want to earn an extra £200-£400 a month - PM me to ask how'

I want to email her and tell her she is going about it all wrong - she needs to up her game - after all we all know that FLBots earn £160million a month!! Wink

In other news, my other FLBot earned a pay rise of £2.5k - i had to sit on my hands in case i asked what Mr HMRC thought of that.

trinitybleu · 13/07/2015 12:28

hopping thanks. It's a well documented failing of mine - I can't let go! Plus didn't want anyone to think I was hiding / avoiding answering. Am disengaging from Eye now, but happy to answer any genuine questions obviously.

My FLbot apparently had no hangover yesterday due to drinking aloe ... (with picture of humongous bottles of the stuff)

ForeverLivingIgnorance · 13/07/2015 12:51

trinity if you don't mind me asking, let me try to get this straight. You say you retail 90% of the products you sell to actual consumers (i.e., consumers unattached in any way to Younique), right? I assume you sell those products at the suggested retail price, right?

This would mean that there is a (substantial) demand for Younique products at the suggested retail price, through official channels. Yet, as eyes pointed out, on many online auction sites, such as Ebay, current or former distributors are dumping their excess Younique products, often at (substantially) lower prices.

Do you have any explanation for that? Because to me, it doesn't make sense.

Peacheykeen · 13/07/2015 13:10

My FLbot claims she earns over 2k a month but there's something about that just doesn't add up to me Hmm do they tell HMRC about it ? Do they do their own tax ? It just seems so dodgy

Hoppinggreen · 13/07/2015 13:33

My FL bot is really happy it's Monday!!!!!

Peacheykeen · 13/07/2015 14:08

Snap Hopping green mine posted the exact same thing that she loves Monday's start of a brand new week with a picture of a cup of coffee with Happy Monday. Are they all told to post the exact same crap

MarthasHarbour · 13/07/2015 14:27

According to my FLBot this morning 'our flames are getting bigger and nothing's gonna extinguish them - waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah'

WTAF? Confused

Hoppinggreen · 13/07/2015 14:41

peachy it's almost as if they are following a script!!!
Oh hang on a moment ...................

xenu1 · 13/07/2015 14:54

one from last week

FL thread 2
MessedUpWheelieBin · 13/07/2015 15:32

I've been to an "employment opportunities consultation and recruitment" bash.
Please don't laugh too hard at me as actually I'm really desperate for work and money and not most people's idea of employable.

It was actually an opportunity for me to pay to receive leaflets and information supporting the idea that these 'opportunities' are very real, and for information to allow me to tell what's real and what's a scam. According to that list, FL of course ticks all the right boxes as legitimate.

Having waded my way through this and the other thread, I don't suppose anyone wants to sponsor me to become a bot and get an inside story? Grin ('Just a girl seeking to open another door when one closes!')

Anyway I thought you might like something I'm clutching from Forever Living: (telling me who they're recruiting for and expected incomes)

"it is illegal for a promoter or participant in a trading scheme to persuade anyone to make a payment by promising benefits from getting others to join a team. Do not be misled by claims that high earnings are easily achieved."

Hoppinggreen · 13/07/2015 16:28

messedup sorry to hear that.
When we are laughing at their stupid memes then it's one thing but when people get false hopes its another and shows the darker side of this kind of thing.
Good luck with your job search, don't give up people on here have had lots ads of knock backs but did find something eventually x

corker hellBlush

Hoppinggreen · 13/07/2015 16:50

Yes that's nasty, many people on minimum wage work bloody hard!!!
She probably doesn't understand it, she's just obeying orders!!!!

Peacheykeen · 13/07/2015 17:12

Honestly hopping green this girl is getting far too big for her boots she has only ever had the one job which was more like a weekend job before getting involved with FL. I find her constant looking down on others insulting on so many levels. She likes to give the impression that she's some minted business woman and works harder than anybody else . She's said crap like people making excuses with their children when her children are her reason not her excuse

lastuseraccount123 · 13/07/2015 17:14

mine posted this today - wonder if they cleared it with Pixar???

FL thread 2
lastuseraccount123 · 13/07/2015 17:16

martha i'm soooo jelly of your new bot. so jelly.

Peacheykeen · 13/07/2015 17:22

I've noticed quite a few of the bots like to recite the exact same mantra that the main poster girl puts on her page (yes I've been nosey) . The main poster girl gets thousands in bonuses drives a range rover and a Porsche endless trips away , children at private school etc. They seem to think if they buy her book and adopt some of her recruiting techniques then yes they can be just like her. Deluded bints

trinitybleu · 13/07/2015 18:44

Forever it's either fakes (usually the super cheap ones, less than £15 each) from non or shady Presenters, or real presenters cutting their commission down by selling at under RRP. It's against the agreement you sign up to to even sell on eBay / Amazon, let alone cut the RRP unless it's a special offer you want to privately offer your own customers.

Some people will risk their sight by putting fake makeup full of God knows what near their eyes to save a few quid, lots won't. Smile

We have a new mascara launching this week that has patents pending which will hopefully cut the fakes down.

ForeverLivingIgnorance · 13/07/2015 19:46

Thanks trinity

Three more questions, if that's OK:

  1. Why doesn't Younique get the sellers of fake products off the net? That's gotta be bad for business somehow, right?

  2. Why would actual Presenters decide to cut their commissions if there is sufficient retail demand for the products at the suggested retail price?

  3. If actual Younique products are sold online for a fraction of the price, why on earth would I buy my mascara from you, and not from your colleague who sells on Ebay?

lastuseraccount123 · 13/07/2015 21:20

+1. especially question number 2.

trinitybleu · 13/07/2015 21:52
  1. they do - there's a whole Compliance team but there's only so much they can do. They're literally on eBay / Amazon all day.

  2. because they're happy to make less and risk being removed, and they think selling 2 for half the commission is as good as 1 for all the normal commission. Trouble is the price keeps dropping and eventually you're making nothing. Also, you'll still get full PRS credit for the sale so they'll get promoted quicker. Again, Compliance find some of them and close them down.

  3. hang on, forgotten the question!

trinitybleu · 13/07/2015 21:54
  1. because unless you buy via the Younique website, how can you be sure it's genuine? Have heard of people signing up whilst taking a shipment from China. They have a Younique link, but then sell the fakes on eBay.
