Hi All,

I've started a new thread as the other was at page 39.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm still just about in my fertile window - I got my LH surge yesterday.

The clocks going forward has hot me a little bit, but I'm looking forward to brighter evenings.

@Chocolatebean no FRER tests in Superdrug😩 they've stopped stocking them in my local Superdrug apparently.

Bought a Superdrug own early detection and a couple digitals just in case🤞🏻🤞🏻. Anyone used the Superdrug ones before?

Chocolatebean · 07/04/2023 16:15

@mollibu amaxon have frers on next day delivery on prime. I’m sure the Superdrug ones are supposed to be pretty good. xxx

Chocolatebean · 07/04/2023 16:27

@VillageFete I’m terrified as well InFact I think I’m expecting this to go wrong. I phoned my gp about checking my progesterone as they put me on it when I started bleeding last time and he said to call the epu which I did and they have given me an appt for the 17th April I keep thinking that’s only 10 days away so just hoping things hang on till then xxx

I didn't even think of Amazon! I'll see if I can order some. Thank you xxx

mollibu · 07/04/2023 16:51

I'm so so so so anxious to test in the morning. I want this so bad but I'm really not strong enough to go through with another MC ☹️

Chocolatebean · 07/04/2023 17:10

@mollibu totally get it and feel/felt exactly the same. At least in this group we know how we all feel xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 07/04/2023 18:22

@mollibu If AF is still late I think you're in with a good shot! 😬

hennie222 · 07/04/2023 20:39

@SMG1992 not triggering ! Happy for you all and nice to see there is still hope.

@TheBirdintheCave I'm still here from the original thread. Went out this month couple of days ago so will be going again in 2 weeks time (round and round we go !)

Oh I really hope so! I'm so nervous. Will update in the morning 🤞🏻🤞🏻 I've had too many wees today I didn't bother this evening even trying!

Chocolatebean · 07/04/2023 20:49

@SMG1992 a while ago I seem to remember reading that vit d and selenium are supposed to help prevent mc I can’t remember the research behind it xxx

mollibu · 08/04/2023 04:16

Clear blue early digital not pregnant 😢😢

The Superdrug test was invalid it didn't even show the control line, don't recommend those!

I'm gutted, I'm never ever late. The last time I was, I was pregnant. Where is my period?! 💔💔

Chocolatebean · 08/04/2023 04:58

@mollibu how weird is it that I woke up and thought to check this page in case you’d messaged. Xxx

Chocolatebean · 08/04/2023 05:02

@mollibu this journey is a hard and cruel one, my periods were like clockwork before the mc and after it they were always a few days apart. I know it’s the last thing u want to hear is if you’re stressed or thinking about it it just won’t arrive or maybe the frer will pick something up. It just sucks. The worry and stress never ends. My method is is to just keep yourself super busy anything to take your mind off things I know that’s so much easier said than done xxx

TheBirdintheCave · 08/04/2023 06:45

@mollibu Oh no, I'm so sorry :( I was convinced this was your month. How cruel :(

SMG1992 · 08/04/2023 07:12

@mollibu im so sorry to hear that.
did you order some frers too?

I don’t want to give false hope but you’re not out until AF arrives
when I was pregnant before the CB test didn’t pick it up at first so I don’t think they are as good

i hope you take care and don’t be too hard on yourself x

@Chocolatebean I’ve heard about vit d and my sister who had ivf swears by 2 Brazil nuts a day as that is one of the things she was told to have. I think they are high in selenium so there might be something in that

Thank you all so so much for your lovely messages Flowers

When I was pregnant in November, I didn't actually test positive until a week after my period was due. (Although was testing prior with clear blues and then first responses) but I don't want history to repeat itself I.e. (if I am pregnant) not testing positive until a week after as that pregnancy ended in a miscarriage. Testing positive so late after AF was due obviously wasn't a good thing :(

I feel so silly for being upset but you're all making me feel loads better! Also you're right, I'm not out until AF arrives. I've ordered some FRER which I might test with on Monday if AF doesn't arrive.

It's just bizarre that I never ever have a late period, even after my MC. I waited 6 weeks for a period and after that they was back to clockwork!

I'm only in my mid-twenties, I can't believe how long we've been trying with no baby in our arms. My friendship group seem to sniff the air and manage to get pregnant! Which is great for them, but very jealous!

Congratulations on the positives!

I'm in my cycle after medical management of MMC. Only started tracking day 15 as wasn’t allowed to have sex until then anyway. Seems I caught my surge but not sure if lingering HCG was messing things up. Potentially 6dpo and here’s how things look.

Had ewcm around my lh peak but it was mixed with light end of mc bleeding so a bit confusing… and then it came back 4dpo randomly. Today at 6dpo it’s creamy and white.

Will update you on progress in case anyone else is going through the ttc after mc / mmc process.

Update on my first cycle post mc chart at potentially 8dpo 🤔

Had a bbt dip yesterday then back up this morning to my post ovulation higher baseline. Some ewcm past few days again, read this doesn't necessarily mean anything though. LH increasing again 🤔

fleur89 · 08/04/2023 07:44

Would help if I actually added the chart 😂

I'm wondering if the LH surge previously was just old HCG as I was still having a faint positive test around then. Maybe this next surge is my "real" ovulation, I do understand mc can prolong cycles. Time will tell... Can't DTD today but can tomorrow onwards so let's see if this LH surge continues to a peak 🧐

Baby0523 · 08/04/2023 08:51

So my period has finally arrived properly. I couldn't be happier to finally be able to start ttc soon. After the late miscarriage all I could think about was trying again, thank you for listening to me :) let's hope 2023 gets better for all

Vic225 · 08/04/2023 08:54

Hi everyone,

Brand new to this but just looking for some advice re. pregnancy and IBS and just wondering if anyone else is having the same struggles. I have a healthy 2 year old daughter so know I can have a successful pregnancy but we are TTC baby number 2 and I have just had my second miscarriage at 5 weeks 3 days.

In all of my pregnancies I have really struggled my IBS really flaring up in the first trimester and wondering if there could be any links with not being able to manage these symptoms and miscarriage. I have suffered badly with IBS since teens and usually take medication daily but with pregnancy I come off everything and try to manage with just a low fodmap diet but each day of pregnancy I struggle with diarrhea, bloating and cramps. The reason I'm asking is I remember it not being quite as bad with my daughter but both miscarriages have been after particularly bad flare ups.

I'm just wondering if anyone else has experienced this? We are really hoping to try again next month as desperately want a second baby but I'm looking for some advice for how to manage these symptoms better next time to hopefully help avoid another miscarriage if that is possible/if they are linked or if this is all in my head.

Appointments are really hard to get at my GP at the minute and I know there is not much help available until we have a third I a row.

I think my pregnancy with my daughter was partially helped by the lockdown tbh, working from home and not having any pressure or able to leave the house.

xx

Ps. Sorry no idea if I've wrote this in the right place 🙈

@Baby0523 glad your period has finally arrived! All the best for this cycle.

@Vic225 sorry to hear you have to join the miscarriage club, but you are welcome here! You might get better luck with IBS-related advice if you start a specific thread about it on the conception page, you might get seen by others with IBS. But it does sound like there could be a link to flare ups, I guess it's similar to being ill in early pregnancy in that your body is under stress, I'm convinced COVID caused my loss. Hope you find some solutions!

For a couple of days my breasts were feeling fuller so was feeling hopeful but this evening they feel light again, and I had some light cramps, so not sure if we'll have been successful this cycle despite having sex more than half the days this cycle... Not too sure when my period is due, some time in the next 7 days I think. We're on holiday and will be home in Saturday, if still no period by then will do a test.
