Hi All,

I've started a new thread as the other was at page 39.
I hope everyone had a good weekend. I'm still just about in my fertile window - I got my LH surge yesterday.

The clocks going forward has hot me a little bit, but I'm looking forward to brighter evenings.

@SMG1992 im not having too many symptoms really either apparently the average day for morning sickness to start is 5+4. I got a bit of a fright this afternoon I had a streak of stringy blood, I’m hoping it’s just off the scan yesterday as she had a good poke around and I know I have a lot of scar tissue on my cervix so here’s hopi g it’s just that it really freaked me out xxx

SMG1992 · 18/04/2023 17:13

@Chocolatebean I bet that freaked you out, it sounds likely it would be from the scan though x

@SMG1992 yes I’m really hoping so all I can do is hope and pray that it’s just a one off. Fingers crossed 🤞 xxx

hennie222 · 18/04/2023 18:26

@Chocolatebean thanks for checking in! After so long of being well behaved I've given in to an evening with some wine and crisps . Decided that getting obsessed about it all wasn't helping anything. Ovulation likely later this week so hoping my new relaxed state does the trick.

hennie222 · 18/04/2023 19:03

@SnookyPook welcome to the thread. Sorry for your loss and defo give yourself time. I was similar back in Dec (gearing up to tell people etc with earlier mc ). It takes time but I'm still hopeful. This thread is inspiring and so supportive x

Chocolatebean · 18/04/2023 19:04

@hennie222 i 100000% think that is the best thing that you can do for yourself. Go back to enjoying life, nice weather is on the way enjoy it have fun. It will do you better than all the supplements put together 😊

hennie222 · 18/04/2023 19:04

@Chocolatebean just catching up. Hope all OK and just one of those random things xx

Chocolatebean · 18/04/2023 19:08

@hennie222 aw thanks Hennie me too. This ride is never going to be smooth is it just hoping it’s a one off xxx any little blip and you think it’s over again xxx

SMG1992 · 18/04/2023 21:26

@hennie222 fingers crossed you will be more relaxed for ovulation this week

Welcome @SnookyPook , sorry to hear of your loss. You are right, this board is so uplifting and a lovely space to be when you are not quite sure what you are thinking or what you want to do.
I’m only catching up but I do enjoy reading everyone’s updates and news.

I think I might have ovulated/about to ovulate based on cm only, we didn’t try this cycle so will just wait now for my period to arrive and then go from there. Not sure how I feel about tracking ovulation etc. again having thought I was done with that but hopefully not for too long xx

susievalentino · 18/04/2023 23:51

Hello
currently going through my 3rd miscarriage (5th if you include chemical pregnancies) and second since January
waiting to see if expectant management works (was on cyclogest but I’ve stopped it) as I’m a bit nervous about surgical management and my hospital don’t do medical. I don’t know if it’s too early to join this thread sorry if so.
I think they can test it this time which maybe helpful and I’d like to conceive again but I don’t think my partner would really be on board, not sure yet. He changed his tuned recently to say he wanted it but I don’t think so really. I was hopeful about this one but it never looked right in early scans I just really hoped for the best with it. Anyway hello

SnookyPook · 19/04/2023 01:06

Thanks all for the kind welcoming messages. Looking forward to getting to know you better and see these BFPs progressing 🥰

SMG1992 · 19/04/2023 07:47

@susievalentino welcome and I’m sorry for what you are and have been going through
hopefully with 3 miscarriages they can do some tests to see if there is an underlying cause
i hope you are not feeling too bad and are taking care x

Hi ladies. I woke up this morning with a sore tummy and more pink with quite a bit of mucus so I’m thinking this is probably the start of another MC. I’m gutted but I’d rather this than the missed mc I had last time. I had a good feeling about this one but looks like it’s not meant to be esp when measured right for dates on Monday so it’s all gone wrong since then. We are also going to have to take our 14 year old pug to be pts this afternoon so all in all a crappy day. I know it’s definitely not over but it’s how it all happened last time so I really dont hold much hope at all xxx

Hankthehonk · 19/04/2023 08:43

@Chocolatebean oh no 😢 I'm so sorry you're going through this. As you say, there's still a chance things might turn out OK but you are probably doing the right thing preparing yourself for the worst.
With my first pregnancy (which was healthy and became my now nearly 3 year old) I had bleeding after an internal scan for 3 days.
When bleeding started the night I'd had an internal scan with my second pregnancy I wasn't even worried as I assumed that's what it was. But sadly that progressed to the mc.
Sounds like it could go either way for you at this point.
So sorry about your wee dog as well how heartbreaking. X

Hankthehonk · 19/04/2023 08:45

@susievalentino so sorry that you're experiencing another miscarriage and I hope you can get support you need from your hospital. It also sounds hard that your partner is in a different place from you about what next, but hopefully once you've had time to process and grieve this loss you'll be able to decide together

Chocolatebean · 19/04/2023 09:31

@Hankthehonk yeah what you’ve said is exactly how I feel it could still be ok but prepping for the worst. I’ve bled after scans before and been ok it’s just the aching/cramping that really doesn’t feel good. Here’s hoping anyway I just keep telling myself If it’s a mc then it’s for a reason so body is doing what it has to xxx

Fairylight102 · 19/04/2023 10:20

@Chocolatebean So sorry to hear this. Thinking of you xx

hennie222 · 19/04/2023 11:14

@Chocolatebean sorry to hear this. Really hoping for you that it's still a positive outcomexxx

SnookyPook · 19/04/2023 13:29

@Chocolatebean aw bless you that's so tough. I can imagine that all these things that can be fine just take on a whole new worrying element after a previous loss. Sending you massive hugs and lots of love. Have you rung your EPAU or anything yet? So sorry to hear about your dog too. What a tough day 😔

@susievalentino so sorry to hear what you're going through too. I hope it all goes as well as it can for you and that you maybe get some answers that give some clarity for you and your partner about 'what next'. Big hugs xx

SMG1992 · 19/04/2023 14:52

Aw @Chocolatebean in sorry you are having all of this going on today
I know what you mean about thinking the worst so that you don’t have so far too fall if things don’t work out as hoped
thinking of you and keeping everything crossed x

@susievalentino sorry to hear your experience, this is a really supportive group and we're here for you 💗

@Chocolatebean hope all is okay and the bleeding is normal first trimester stuff, sending you best wishes 💗

Update on my side - my period arrived on Tuesday night, one day after the retained products came out and I visited hospital & got the all clear the miscarriage is finally complete. So glad it's finally over after such a drawn out experience. My period bleeding is light but it's on day 3 and bright red so I'm pretty certain that's what it is. Will start tracking for ovulation after it ends. This is my first period in 2 years due to pregnancy, breastfeeding, and then miscarriage 🙈

SnookyPook · 20/04/2023 18:13

Thinking of you lots @Chocolatebean - hope you are ok ❤️

susievalentino · 20/04/2023 19:04

Hi thank you
I think it is probably mostly over now but I thought that yesterday afternoon and it wasn’t. So painful this time round I guess it was more weeks. I took the sample into the hospital this time in the pot they gave me …had to hide it in the fridge before I took it in 🤦‍♀️ sorry if tmi! then the forms and stuff I had to sign really upset me this time
I don’t know I’m feeling quite hopeless about it I guess at the moment
also so painful! But will be good to avoid a procedure if it’s happened by itself I guess it’s better it’s over with hopefully

Chocolatebean · 20/04/2023 20:35

Hi @SnookyPook thanks so much for asking. (Touch wood) no more bleeding, the cramping lasted a while yesterday but I’ve been reading up on progesterone which I started the night before and these are 2 symptoms that progesterone can cause. I’m just praying that’s all it is/was xxx
my little dog was pts last night I thought I was ok then I started crying and couldn’t stop but feel a bit better today. Her back legs went and she went completely incontinent front and back end and it turned to diahorrea ao she was in a right state. I know she wasn’t ready to go but her body just gave up xxx
