Thanks everybody for their kinds words & advice .. This morning I started to bleed .. I'm not sure how i feel , a little part of me is relieved that I can finally start to accept it and try grieve ... I need to keep positive and keep telling myself things like this happen for a reason.. I hope you all can get through this horrible time and feel some closure .. Xx

Shaz I'm sorry you're bleeding but hope it will help you to accept what has happened. Fx it isn't too bad - just take it very easy and one day at a time. We are always around if you need someone to chat to. It will get better I promise - there are ladies on her who are living proof of it xx

Lilliana I'm feeling ok emotionally so far. I'm just so tired still and feel abit out of sorts. Dh is going to take Dd out for a couple of hours so I can sleep.

Hi All - I was feeling quite ok yesterday and even cycled to the cinema with DH to watch the new mad movie.Warning for anyone who is thinking of seeing it- There is a graphic scene with a pregnant woman & her baby death . I had to leave to vomit. I wish I had known. I went home and thought I would try a pregnancy test to see if my hcg levels have gone down yet. I am still saying 3weeks + on the test. How long does it take to go down. Not bleeding yet. I feel worse today I thought I was getting better.

Allmychildren .. Thankyou !!! I hope it does get easier .. Was feeling better yesterday , but today I feel sad & still in denial I guess .. I'm going back to work tmw to see if it helps .. I'm not looking forward it ..don't know if I'm doing the right thing or not ?? Xxx

Happywifey... How dreadful for you .. My bleeding started Friday ... It made me feel like I could start to accept it but today the reality of it hit me ... I feel sadness and empty again ... I hope you start to feel better soon .. Xxx

Wifey that's horrible about having to see that at the cinema...i think it takes a different amount of time for everyone for the hormone to go down to zero...sometimes the hormones won't disappear until around 3 weeks after the mc. I tested neg only a few days after my mc, but I think my hormones dropped conciderably after my fetal pole disappeared (although I mc at 10+5 I had grown a 10-12 cm sack that I still had to pass) my pg symptoms disappeared at around 8 weeks so I believe they dropped from then, as I no longer 'felt' pg. I think its different for everyone. But generally speaking, your hormones shouldn't reach zero until after you have passed the pregnancy. Sorry I don't have better news. Its good you are trying to go out and do things though, I didn't dare go anywhere once the bleeding started! Don't push yourself to do things though, if you feel sad, allow yourself to be sad, give yourself time to grieve. Best wishes x

It's awful going through these ups and downs some days are better than others, I hope things become better for you soon too shaz . Good luck with work tomorrow- have you told them?. I going back on Tuesday if I have not started to bleed by then and just sit it out. I have literally told them everything so as they cannot try any funny business as I am in probationary period at the moment. I am not sure how long you can have off with pregnancy related sickness though and that is worrying me.

shaz if you don't feel up to going back to work yet then don't push yourself, a doctor would definitely sign you off for a couple of weeks given the circumstances! You will feel very up and down, its such a confusing time. One minute you feel you understand and accept, and the next you feel completely gutted again. It's shit I know, but it really does get easier, there is no quick fix and it will take time. But do allow yourself to grieve and be sad, its natural and is all part of the healing process. Look after and be kind to yourself x

Thanks paws think we X posted. I am bit apprehensive about the sack still growing , even though baby is not. I just wish I would start bleeding so I can get things moving. My pregnancy symptoms are lessening though for sure so hopefully things will happen soon.

I hadn't told my work I was pregnant I was going to wait until after my scan .. So sad I didn't get that far :( .. Hope ur work is kind to you .. I had time off when I went for my ivf , they thought I was just on annual leave so they are going to be a bit annoyed if I take more time .. Although I havnt had any sick days untill last week .. wifey when its pg and mc related, they cannot legally terminate your employment with them, even if you're in a probation period. Just do what you feel you need to do. If they did try anything funny, you could take them to court for it, and they know it! X
