hi suz my period came exactly 28 days after erpc and it was quite light which was the opposite to what i had expected. i know it can come at any time. its often referred to on other threads as the what the f cycle.

i think mine might have been light because i lost lots of blood in my complications but cant be sure. i was expecting heavy, lumpy and possibly longer.

MyNameIsSuz · 29/03/2015 20:51

Hmm, could be then, I was expecting it to maybe be a little out of sync but was expecting it might be later not two weeks earlier! Very strange.

wheresmybump · 30/03/2015 08:45

Hi suz I didn't have an erpc but it only took 21 days for my bleed after first mc which would normally take 30- 35 days for me. It only lasted 3days but fairly heavy, next af was normal xx

MyNameIsSuz · 01/04/2015 19:38

I don't think it was a period at all, it changed and I've been in pain, think I've got a post surgery infection Sad. Two different antibiotics so hopefully it won't cause a long term problem! Feeling a bit woe is me.

wheresmybump · 01/04/2015 22:04

Oh no sounds awful suz hope you feel better soon Flowers

AtAt · 01/04/2015 22:34

Oh no, get better SuzThanks

UnderEstherMate · 01/04/2015 23:36

Oh god, that's awful. Get better suz Flowers

MyNameIsSuz · 02/04/2015 07:36

Thanks everyone, just another setback, sure it'll be fine! Not helped by a night of vomiting and bed changing with my two year old... at least I'm off work this week so can hopefully sneak in a nap later!

halestone · 03/04/2015 21:31

Ladies can i join you please. I have had a MMC diagnosed yesterday at 9 weeks, had previously seen the heart beat at 7 weeks. I did have another thread i just need to ask a question. Did anyone start with cramping/diarrhoea and aching legs prior to bleeding? I am manically symptom watching. I can't tell the EPAU my decision on how to manage till tuesday so in the meantime i keep wondering if it will start. Its driving me insane.

wheresmybump · 03/04/2015 22:13

Hi halestone sorry you've had to find us on here. Yes my first symptom was extreme cramping followed by diarrhoea, bleeding started two days later- i honestly thought I'd got a stomach bug Sad

Adventuregame · 03/04/2015 22:23

Thanks for suggesting this thread Ginger. I had an ERPC yesterday. I had to stay in for hours afterwards as my bloods came back as rhesus negative so I needed the anti D injection. I'm a bit confused over what this means either for the mmc I just had or future pregnancies but I see the consultant for a follow up in 2 weeks so I will ask questions then. I've had no pain and no bleeding today - almost like it never happened apart from bursting into tears every now and again. DP has been amazing (as well as paying for the private ERPC - ouch ) and I feel we're closer than ever !!
I like the idea of getting a plant or ornament for the garden as a memory.

halestone · 03/04/2015 22:43

Thank You Wheresmybump. I think i am practically ready i have pads, mats medications. The waiting is unbearable though every niggle is analysed. If nothing has happened by Tuesday i'll have a ERPC. I have had one in the past after another MMC at 9 weeks and felt i rushed into the decision which is why i opted to wait this time.

Sorry that you and everyone else are going through thisThanks

wheresmybump · 03/04/2015 23:15

I've had two natural mcs the first was a mmc so like you I got everything ready it took a while to start and it lasted about 9 days. The second was a lot faster and was done in 3. I can't comment on the erpc as I wasn't offered one but if my scan doesn't go great on the 8th I'm not sure I can do the waiting again

UnderEstherMate · 03/04/2015 23:21

Hi halestone, I'm really sorry for your loss. I still don't know if I've MCd or not (although I suspect the worst), I had bleeding two weeks ago which only stopped a few days ago, and have had some diarrhoea and a lot of leg cramps since the bleeding started.

Can i ask how all of your DPs/DHs were during the whole process? Mine was great during the first couple of days but now I just feel horribly alone. I really don't know what to do with myself.

UnderEstherMate · 03/04/2015 23:22

My scan is on the 8th too wheresmybump. We can handhold together

wheresmybump · 03/04/2015 23:41

Oh under I'm sorry your feeling alone. To be honest my dp is burying his head and doesn't really want to talk about it that's why I'm on here. I started bleeding two weeks ago just spotting and on wiping but had hideous cramps. I had a scan and they said there was a sack but that's all they could see so I have to go back to see if there's any change as it could just be too early. The bleeding has now stopped but I have no idea if I'm pregnant or waiting to mc. What times your scan?

UnderEstherMate · 03/04/2015 23:56

My situation is exactly the same as yours, in terms of partner and physically! Mine's at 4.00, what time is yours?

wheresmybump · 04/04/2015 00:34

9am - i asked for the earliest as I thought 17 days was long enough to wait Smile
We don't really know how far I am either as I got pregnant straight after a mc so they're counting that as the lmp so I should be 8 weeks Monday and due on the 16/11 but my cycles are quite long so I think I may be more 6-7 and hoping (praying with everything crossed) it was implantation bleeding. How far are you now? Xx

wheresmybump · 04/04/2015 00:44

Sorry adventure I didn't see your post, Sorry to hear of your loss. I think it's a great idea to get a memory plant or ornament.

UnderEstherMate · 04/04/2015 00:46

I should be about 9 weeks by now. I think I got my dates about muddled so it could be slightly more or less, but scan was showing at 5 weeks at the EPU so I'm doing my best not to get my hopes up, even though I'm willing it to just be ordinary spotting!

I'm sorry you're having to go through it all again straight after having one, that must be awful Flowers

wheresmybump · 04/04/2015 01:00

I know what you mean logical side says prepare for the worst but my heart overrides it. If I'm honest I was half expecting it after developing an addiction to Googling mc advice everywhere I looked said if you have 2 it's likely to happen again- i just didn't expect to conceive so quick

MyNameIsSuz · 04/04/2015 06:57

Hi halestone and Adventure, sorry you're joining us Flowers

MyNameIsSuz · 04/04/2015 07:37

Under and bump, good luck with your scans. The waiting is awful, I am obviously hoping you both get good news but either way I hope you get answers and are able to move forward. Let us know how you get on.

halestone · 04/04/2015 09:01

Adventure i think doing something to remember is a lovely idea.

Under i remember you from the November thread.

Under and Where the waiting for scans must be horrific.

I had a scan at 7.1 which showed a lovely little heartbeat. Then went back on Thursday for what should of been a reassurance scan (i knew in my heart of hearts though) There was no heartbeat and no activity within the foetus. The heartbeat had stopped around 8ish weeks. It was confirmed by a 2nd sonographer.

I slept quite well last night i think it was through exhaustion though as i have had an awful week where sleep was concerned.

My Dp has been great but has brought our DsD up to stay the weekend. Shes 10 and i know it sounds awful but i don't want her here. I have made plans for my Dd to leave as soon as the bleeding starts. Dp says Dsd will stay downstairs but she won't she doesn't let me have time alone so i will be getting MiL to come and get her. Dp is burying his head in the sand i've told him no i need him and him alone.

AtAt · 04/04/2015 16:12

Sorry for those that are joining usThanks
I'm feeling a lot more positive at the moment. Dh, ds and I are on holiday at the moment, and it's been nice spending time together. We are going to leave it a couple of weeks, and if my period hasn't started, then we will start trying again (as I was on the implant, not sure how long it will take for my periods to get back to normal)
I've also started running again, which is good for my mind. Hope everyone else is holding up ok
