Baby Bertie Lee was born at 1pm today, weighing 8lb and 15.5oz . Four hour labour and pool birth in my local birthing centre. He is wonderful. Will post again when I feel less like I've been hit by a bus. xxx

Congratulations tanny Flowers

Thank you everyone for the welcome. And for agreeing the doctor was as crap as I thought he was!

The sunshine is helping me feel slightly better today (as is the codeine!) Ds decided he loves me again too Smile
I'm terrible at waiting for things and know the six week wait for an appointment to the Rmc is going to kill me. I just want to know what happened (if that's possible) and get on with trying again.

ThePopandcry do Leeds do all the tests that I'll need? Or will there be others worth paying for?

How do you get to the holy grail of Coventry? Is that the place to go when all other options are exhausted? Do you get referred by gp or Rmc?
Sorry for the questions-I'm trying to get my head sorted for what to do next.

sebsmummy1 hope the bleeding has settled down. I second 111 if not though. Or did you have a number to call on the ward where you had the Erpc? I was given a number and told to call any time if I was worried about anything.

sebsmummy1 · 07/03/2015 16:35

Oh god that's be crying. Bless you Tan

bakingtins · 07/03/2015 16:37

Wonderful news tanny give baby Bertie a big snuggle from me!

bakingtins · 07/03/2015 16:43

minnie you can self refer to Coventry. It costs £360 and they do a uterine biopsy for decidualisation (how lining prepares for pregnancy) and uNK cells. Most of us have gone after drawing a blank on nhs tests. You have to be at least 2 cycles postMC and not pregnant, so it makes sense to pursue the nhs tests at the moment but bear Coventry in mind for a few months time. There's no waiting list, you contact them when you ovulate and they'll fit you in 7-10 days later. I'd resign yourself to a few months off TTC, get all the tests you can done , recuperate a bit mentally and physically, and start afresh with a plan in place. I know it's hard to step back when you feel the clock is ticking, but it is worth it.

seb how are you feeling now?

Jady77 · 07/03/2015 16:47

Wow, congratulations Tanny! Can't tell you how pleased I am for you. You've given me real hopeFlowers
