Barking, think it's a great idea, have the same problem ??

Flen · 21/03/2015 11:32

Hello lovely barking, I think that's a great idea of all the names and statuses in one place. On the UTI front, cranberry juice, baking soda in water and just water to try to flush it out. If it's just a needing a wee feeling at the moment with no burning or pelvic pain, then those should help but might take a few days. (On the dog front, ours has been very clingy/cuddly to me recently too - been wondering if he's picking up on my anxiety and "looking after" me!)

Flen · 21/03/2015 11:33

PS. barking and avoid caffeine and alcohol, which I guess you probably are anyway at this point...

Couldn't see stats on this thread for these people:

boozle80
monten
twilightstruggle
cloudjumper
queenangst
enlightenedbunny
leahjane
lovemylittlebear
seekingmiracles

If people find it useful we can copy it to the first post of the next thread and then everyone can add their own stories as usual as they arrive, if people aren't keen as they don't want to see it like that then I figured this thread would be finished soon anyway so this post will be well hidden. I'm not trying to replace the detail of individual stories as that's really helpful to see as well, it's just difficult to keep track when the information is spread out over so many pages (and usually I'm on my phone so going back further than a few posts on the app can be a pain).

barkingtreefrog · 21/03/2015 13:19

And thanks, cloud/flen, I'm drinking loads, and I'll head out to Boots later and pick up some cranberry capsules. I've got to call the clinic later today when they've scheduled all the procedures on Monday to find out when to do my trigger shot (it's got to be done at a precise time to coordinate with the time of the appointment for egg collection on Monday) so I'll ask them if this is just a weird coincidence.

mrsdiddlydoo · 21/03/2015 13:28

Wow barking thank you!

MrsConfusion is missing from the list (hope you don't mind me pointing it out MrsC Big wave btw!)

MrsConfusion 35, DD, 3 mc

Has anyone spotted anyone else missing?

I can't believe is page 40 already. I'll catch up later. Dog's at the vet. Broken middle toe. Randomly just had my hair cut (well that bit's not random) but I let my hairdresser do what she likes cos I'm super lazy/ rubbish at girly things and its been cut into the same style I had when I fell upduffed with Ds. Is this a sign? Fingers crossed...

Jady77 · 21/03/2015 13:34

That's brilliant Barking, I like itGrin. I get so lost with what's going on with who, but that helps.

Monten · 21/03/2015 13:44

wow - well done barking!

Here's me: Monten 37, ttc #1 since April '13, 1 TFMR, 1 mc

I hope your bladder thing improves. I sometimes feel like I need a wee constantly when ov-ing and also just before period.

I think that's a brilliant sign mrsdiddly.

Just returned from acupuncture. She was very disappointed by lack of flow of my last af. Felt I'd let her down! Never had someone else pay so much attention to my menstrual flow - this ttc journey gets weirder and weirder!

Brummiegirl15 · 21/03/2015 13:47

Afternoon all

Anyone see the article in the Times today about recurrent miscarriage? I really wanted to share on fb. I did then deleted it about a minute later.

Cross at myself for not having balls to leave up - like an anti baby bomb

Marchgirl · 21/03/2015 14:03

Great idea on the list barking, it'll really help with remembering who is who.

I tried to read the times article brummie, but refuse to pay to read one article (tight arse) so annoying that is not free!

Brummiegirl15 · 21/03/2015 14:13

I paid the £1 for a 30 day trial as my view was, if I bought it in Tesco I'd pay at least £1 for the paper.

Need to cancel trial!

AndCounting · 21/03/2015 14:17

barking I also find that summary super-helpful.

Minnie74 · 21/03/2015 14:20

marchgirl and brummie me too. Looked like it would be interesting too.

Wow! barking that's fab. Very useful- thanks for doing it. And second lots of water for uti. I got so paranoid it caused mc (after my first when I had one at the same time) I bought sticks on Amazon to test myself through my pg! not mad at all Never had one since and had two more mcs so definitely a coincidence. Funny the things you think could be to blame when you're looking for answers.

monten totally with you on the acupuncture- I talk about stuff I'd never have dreamed I'd be discussing face-to-face with a random stranger! Ewcm, flow, how often we have sex etc etc. I love my acupuncturist though- she's fab!

ThePopAndCry · 21/03/2015 14:35

Thanks barking!
Here's mine:
ThePopandCry, 38, mc, ds, mc, mc, mmc (20 weeks)
Is it ok for me to add the 20 week bit? Don't mind if you want to leave it out for brevity but also might help others?
brummie is it an interesting read?

barkingtreefrog · 21/03/2015 15:15

pop I just made the stats as brief as possible so it was more of a cheat sheet, I think everyone's story is very useful so you know who has had similar experiences, but when I started trying to include how many mc before /after dc, or whether the mc were cp/early/second tri etc in the brief list it just got too long to be useful and I figured people would still share that on the new thread anyway, this was just more of a memory prompt.
Who's starting the new thread then?! I've got the list here I can cut and paste to the first post so you don't have to put all the asterisks in!!!

TinyTear · 21/03/2015 15:29

Great list, thanks!
I also refused to pay for the Times, bah...

Brummiegirl15 · 21/03/2015 15:29

It was a good article actually but this blog I read yesterday was also excellent

parentmemories.wordpress.com/2015/03/16/no-not-everything-happens-for-a-reason-and-third-time-is-not-always-lucky/

barkingtreefrog · 21/03/2015 15:34

Off to Boots to get some cranberry tabs, so I've just put a new one up before I shut down the laptop! Grin Go add your stories at the top! Smile

new thread here

Hi Ladies

Thought I'd introduce myself, after a couple of years of non Netmums membership and darting in and out of googling here over he last couple of years, thought I'd join up!

I've had 3 early miscarriages.
MC1 – at 6.5 weeks directly after an early transvaginal scan at EPU. Literally got off the scanning bed and walked out the door of the unit and it started. Then it started proper Xmas Day 2013, had a minor car crash on the way to the local hospital Xmas Day.

MC2 - Missed miscarriage at 12 week scan, Oct 13th 2014, (13 NOT my lucky number either!!) although I had suffered spotting from 7 weeks and asked the doctors and A&E for reassurance as I just knew something was not right and had persistent left shoulder blade pain, I was told to hang on for 12 week scan and was told there that it hadn't progressed beyond 7 weeks.

MC3 - Mid Feb 2015 at 4 weeks and 3 days. All of the miscarriages managed naturally, although no.2 resulted in contractions and awful bleeding on a car journey home and managed at a wonderful local urgent care centre. Went in to a bit of shock in the early hours later at home and was looked after and monitored by wonderful ambulance crew at home.

I decided after MC3 to go for the uNK cells test at Professor Quenby's clinic in Coventry.

I've just had my results from Professor Quenby and I have 7.4% uterine Natural Killer Cells. 5% is what they would call the upper limit of normal.

I started on the Progesterone on CD21 came off CD28, started spotting on day 31, period started proper on day 33. I am normally as regular as clockwork 28 day cycle most of my life. My period this month is very blood red and very heavy this month, not like normal at all.

Can I ask has anyone else suffered this after taking Progesterone?
Also if you've been diagnosed with high uNK cells at Professor Quenby's clinic what was your percentage count?

Thanks in advance.
