Excellent news Sebs, can it find mine too!

Sunandrainbow · 20/03/2015 09:14

Pleased AF has pitched up sebs - new start now.

I also can't wait for AF hopefully Sunday as def not pg this month (no symptoms and hpt negative). Trying to tell myself this is good news as now we can enjoy our holiday but really very gutted.

flen - I love that text from your friend. And barking I think it was - completely agree that in no way would I want to swap my life in its entirety for those of friends who have managed to have babies with ease while we have been trying failing.

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 09:43

I also agree about not wanting to swap lives with others. My sister is lucky enough to have had two children in her 40s with relative ease, however she works two jobs, rarely sees them or her partner. They are constantly exhausted whereas I am lucky enough to be here every day with DS but have fertility problems. People with children do bit have charmed lives, we just perceive it that way as we see it hear about the good bits.

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 09:44

*do not have

bythesea82 · 20/03/2015 09:59

Thanks everyone for the support, I am feeling a little optimistic this morning – long may it last!

sebs glad AF has arrived and hopefully you can start to feel a bit more in control of your own body again.
bootles hope you are ok?
flower hope that you get something sorted for appointments, it’s all so frustrating when you just want answers and there seems no way in.
flen really like that. It is so true that what you see on the outside of other’s lives is rarely similar to what is really going on. I realise that there are very few people who truly have an easy life, there is normally something going on what we don’t know about. I guess that’s a good reason to try and be kind to people however much you want to ring their neck Hmm
barking please don’t apologise, you have so much going on, I just really have everything crossed for you.
just hope you feel better Flowers

May I just add, thank f**k it’s Friday. I think this has been a long week for a lot of people, I hope the weekend works to recharge us all!

Glad AF is here sebs. Onwards and upwards.

Glad you're feeling optimistic bythesea - so you should. You've come really far!

Anyone see the eclipse? Was too cloudy here in London though it went a bit dark.

Marchgirl · 20/03/2015 10:40

We saw the eclipse here! It was very exciting (geek), we had patchy cloud which was perfect as could see it through the cloud with the naked eye (i know you're not supposed to). I will try to attach a pic but you'll need to zoom in!

Marchgirl · 20/03/2015 10:41

Don't think that's come out very well!

girliesaints · 20/03/2015 10:45

Nope couldn't seen the Eclipse on the south coast, just went dark and cold.

Sat waiting for my appointment to sign up to the Response trial. Hope it's the start of positive news

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 10:51

I watched the eclipse with my decorator lol. It was perfectly overcast here so I could watch it with sunglasses on really well. Wasn't a total eclipse though. About 85% apparently, then started getting bigger again.

Marchgirl · 20/03/2015 11:06

This one might be better? (Sorry, very exciting for a former astrophysicist!)

longestlurkerever · 20/03/2015 11:13

That is great March. I had my colander ready and everything but it was no use.

Hope you get your acceptance through soon girlie.

Sunandrainbow · 20/03/2015 11:20

Ooh - great picture march. Good view of it here out oxford way.

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 11:23

Great picture Grin

Flen · 20/03/2015 11:33

Great pic march! Totally overcast down here... :(

bythesea82 · 20/03/2015 11:41

Thanks march as flen said no sightings in the Brighton area, stupid clouds

Eclipse was totally obscured by thick cloud in Cambs. Had totally forgot there was an eclipse until it was announced on car radio on way to work at 9.20am - I hadn't even noticed any difference. And NOW the sun comes out.

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 11:58

Biscuits. I'm on the Beds/Cambs border and saw it fine. DP working in middle of Cambridge couldn't see it all at though I suspect he made a half arsed attempt at it, or else he was in a meeting and just humouring me

Flen · 20/03/2015 12:00

RELIEF positive opk and Coventry next Fri. PHEW!

Sunandrainbow · 20/03/2015 12:12

Yay! Excellent news flen.

longestlurkerever · 20/03/2015 12:18

Yeay Flen! You and Brummie will be there at the same time! May it be a turning point for the thread.

Yes, stupid non-eclipsed sun is back out here too. Hopefully the weekend will be nice at least!

sebsmummy1 · 20/03/2015 12:23

Flen. Coventry is the thing that is keeping me focused right now. I feel as though the Protocol just might make me feel more hopeful if I fall pregnant again. Wishing you loads of luck xx

girliesaints · 20/03/2015 13:16

Excellent news Flen.

Back from Response appointment and now fully signed up. Well recommend it if anyone's thinking about it as weekly checks in first 12 weeks, link into to top fertility consultant at hospital and free clear blue ov kits and pregnancy test x

longestlurkerever · 20/03/2015 13:22

Good news girlie. What are they actually testing for with the response trial? Is it just monitoring or is there a drug they're trialing?

mrsdiddlydoo · 20/03/2015 13:22

Great news flen! Blummin trixy those opks sometimes.

No solar eclipse sightings here. Very overcast. Had to laugh that ds wasn't allowed to play outside during it for elf & safety. If the clouds had been patchy I might understand.

Hooray its Friday. Roll on wine time. Dreading TTC efforts recommencing this weekend. Its all so backwards sometimes.
