I'm 50 and I got this yesterday...

I think it might be a raise in HCG because I'm perimenopausal?

I know it won't be leading to anything, but I just wondered if I should see my GP?

I have had a few miscarriages in the past and I'd rather know what to expect I.e early miscarriage or nuts perimenopause symptoms Grin

I did both tests yesterday evening - they are the 6 days early type.

I could smell a weird smell on myself all day which made me think I should test.

I think I need HRT, I can't go through the next few months feeling pregnant.and smelling weird.

@nobodysdaughternow your posts are so sad - what a lot on your plate. So glad you have the blood test arranged. If you are pregnant your GP should, understanding your family's medical history as a whole, be prepared to offer you extra support. If he still has a poker face, the Early Pregnancy Referral Units where you would presumably be sent are often excellent for support and I would try not to be shy telling them about all the things outside of pregnancy you are dealing with. Wishing you a smooth ride getting help and answers today.
