West Sussex/Surrey Area

Hi I am 33 years young and live in Copthorne near Crawley, West Sussex and looking to chat to other mums/mums to be in the Surrey/Sussex area and maybe arrange a meet up sometime. I used to be on the Redhill or nearish thread but that seemed to die a sudden death so thought I would start a new one.

I have a daughter of 17 months and am expecting another girl in October.

Hi there! Had a week off work - 3 days preparing for dh's 40th followed by 2 days of clearing up afterwards! Slight exaggeration, but not that much... I would still be up for meeting up if we can agree a date. 7th and 25th September are the only dates I definitely can't do at the moment and early October is likely to be out, provided this baby arrives on time... Will check to see what you arrange and let you know if I can make it too!

Hope you are all well. Shall we go for the Tues 11th or the Thursday 13th as think I wont be able to the Wed or Friday that week anyway. The following week will be busy getting ready for going away for the weekend and the week after away on holiday. If all ok for one or both of those dates shall we leave the venue to be decided by you Paula? As our turn to come your way.

Right - well either suits me too, so I'll go with the flow on that one. Is it definitely going to be 11th? If so, I'll get something booked. What food do we prefer. Purley isn't a big town centre (bit like Horley) - the only big thing is Tesco where we can park. We have a Tappas, two Thai restaurants, a Chinese and an Indian and also a Pizza Express. I haven't been to a few of them for years (except Pizza Express) and I'm not a lover of Chinese food though, but what does everyone else prefer? Helena, seeing as you are pg, maybe you should decide what food suits you best?

Steph I won't be in Crawley before we meet up on the 11th, but I'll sort something out soon after that.

I am not overly keen on thai so will go for anything else really.

I'm not that keen on Chinese either, to be honest, so how about going for Tappas? That's easy. 11th sounds good!

Right - all booked for 6 people, 8.30 on 11th September at Tapas bar called Las Fuentas in Purley. I suggest we all park in Tesco's car park and meet at the entrance to Tesco at 8.15 - 8.20 and we can walk from there. It's about five minutes walk. Hope that's OK with everyone. Mary, Steph and Helena - if you need directions, let me know. Amanda and Dropdeadfred, assume you know where it is.
