My name is Jan and I have a 5 month old dd - just extended my maternity leave for another 3 months (hurray!) - anyone fancy meeting for a coffee in Stoke Newington one afternoon?

Hello jen, I'd be up for a walk in Clissold park next week. DS has conjunctivitis at the moment and is not feeling too good- going to have lots of fun with eye drops this week. Hope to meet you soon.

Hi everyone
Got a grotty cold at the moment as I am stressing about childcare - not found anyone yet!! Going to see a nursery tomorrow - would love to meet up next week. Kate big happy birthday to your little man - by the way I have a girl not a boy (I know she looks a bit boysy!!) I can do most afternoons - shall we say next friday so Zammo can make it?

I'm off to Devon next Thursday so wouldn't be able to make Friday anyway (but thanks for thinking of me janx!). I'm afraid I'm only free on Monday of next week - if anyone's around?...otherwise see you at the next meet up.

Hi gossifer, I am indeed fond of hot chocolate! See you at 1pm at the cafe. I'll wait on the steps. I'm shortish with brown curly hair (probably clipped up) and also have a 'jane' - a blue one. See you there!

Hi - agree the weather looks awful! Yes lets do it another time... I work Tues, Wed and Thurs - after the bank holiday I am free most Mondays and Fridays. Hope to meet you soon!

We are going on holiday this weekendand will be back on the 8th - so could do something the following week. Zammo thanks for message - I seemed to have passed cold onto to dd and dp!! On the positive side saw a childminder today who was nice - also went to a nusery which was good but sooooooo expensive.

I'm not sure if I can make it to cafe Friday, but if I do, I will be with DS who is blond and tall for 4. I'm 5ft 7, and I've got dark hair, a green bag and an APPALLING memory for faces so if there is anyone coming I have already met, I am not blanking you, I have just forgotten what you look like!

I'd be up for a dip friday pm - still haven't taken DS for a swim (bit nervous about going on my own for some reason). I have swimming pants for him - would I need anything else?
