Hi
My name is Jan and I have a 5 month old dd - just extended my maternity leave for another 3 months (hurray!) - anyone fancy meeting for a coffee in Stoke Newington one afternoon?

Thanks for sunstone info - dd usually has a long nap at lunchtime so that time is not good for me. Britannia is in hoxton - on corner of pitfield st and hyde road - it has a car park. The pool is nice and warm and like a beach

zammo · 10/04/2005 20:35

I'd be up for the park or swimming on Monday afternoon. That Britannia place sounds great.

janx · 10/04/2005 20:58

ooooh just seen weather forecast and it looks good - how about the park - I can either do the morning around 10.30 or the afternoon around 3.15

zammo · 11/04/2005 10:03

3.15 would be great. Outside the cafe?... In the meantime have to sort my nursery out - they fed my 8 month DS fishfingers, baked beans and chips!!...Jamie - there's a job for you!

zammo · 11/04/2005 12:19

Oops, I take the last statement back about the nursery - they muddled the diary entries up...

Arabica · 11/04/2005 12:59

Hi girls, we are off to Coram fields today but around for a meet-up later in the week. If you haven't been CFields is a lovely huge playground with good cafe, paddling pool, indoor activities for tinies etc.

Arabica · 11/04/2005 12:59

Oh, and even some goats, sheep, bunnies etc

honeypot01 · 11/04/2005 13:01

See you there, janx. I'll be wearing a grey and black top I think, pushing a blue three wheeler with brown curly hair (that's me not the pram).

squareeyes · 11/04/2005 14:31

will try for 3.15 too

janx · 11/04/2005 18:38

nice to meet you and ds today Zammo -

Arabica · 11/04/2005 18:47

Hi Jan, you get a 243 bus and stay on it until you're on Theobalds road--can take about 45 mins but worth it especially when the kids are a bit bigger as there is so much to do.
The playground itself is on Guildford St, nr jn Lamb's Conduit St, really near Gt Ormond St hospital.

outtolunch · 11/04/2005 19:09

Hello all- I made the mistake of putting ds in bed rather than his stroller and he typically he slept for ages (I feel too guilty when I wake him as he never falls asleep after he is moved). Oh well. Glad I didn't confirm and have you wait. I hope you all meet up again soon. Arabica - I know that park and have always wanted to check it out.

kate79 · 11/04/2005 21:29

oops forgot to check back this morning did go to park though, sorry i didn't meet up with you all.
what a lovely day !! don't know what the weathers like rest of this week but anyone fancy doing something ?

zammo · 12/04/2005 13:31

janx - it was lovely to meet you and DD too.

janx · 14/04/2005 21:59

Anyone going to the NCT sale in stokey on Saturday? - I went to one in Islington last year and it was really good

OP posts:
kid · 15/04/2005 07:52

Its a shame its this saturday. Its our schools jumble sale and I usually help out.
Where exactly is the NCT sale anyway? I am close to Dalston and can drive there if I can park (for free!)

outtolunch · 15/04/2005 09:50

I think I will be popping in at some point too. Kid - it is just off of church street, the parking is a bit mad around here since the introduction of CPZ on some streets. Where is your jumble sale?
Janx how are you and dd doing? Have her teeth popped through? My little man is droolin like mad and is enjoys knawing on my finger when he can.

janx · 15/04/2005 12:52

hi outtolunch and kid
The sale is on Defoe Road - just off Church st from 2.30-4.
Outtolunch - dd has two teeth and loves to bite! I think another is coming through as she is dribbling. I'm fine - looking for a childminder at the moment as am going back to work in June.

OP posts:
outtolunch · 16/04/2005 00:25
