My name is Jan and I have a 5 month old dd - just extended my maternity leave for another 3 months (hurray!) - anyone fancy meeting for a coffee in Stoke Newington one afternoon?

Might not be able to do Friday as might be having work meeting? Not going back until Sept, but my new boss is keen to involve me (groan) still she is paying me. Are you at work on Thurs Zammo? - I can do Monday if that is good?
gossifer - I took dd at 12 weeks - fine. It is best to go with others - that way we can all help each other - otherwise you freeze to death when you get out as you have to sort the babes out!!

Should be able to make it monday, my car going in for MOT but i could bus it, where is Britannia? Sounds like its better to go in a group - thanks for the advice Janx!

I was thinking around 3.30 - should be empty of school kids by then...is that good for both of you? When I went before - we were only in there for 20 mins - that seemed enough for her - there is a little cafe on the pool side, so could have a cuppa afterwards.
gossifer - you could get a bus down kingsland road and then walk down - I havn't got my a-z to hand, but I think you could cut down offord road. If your car is sorted there is a car park - I am coming by car

dear janx, swimming was wonderful, leon loved it and i held him on his tummy and the arms & legs did all the swimming actions!!zammos' little one did all the splashing, generally groovy all round! will meet up soon!

Thanks gossifer for a lovely afternoon! I did get a ticket on my car - wonder if I can plead 'stupidity'! I fear I may have lost a few too many brain cells during childbirth!
