New to Harrogate!

Having just left all the boxes stacked up in my new house, I am now sat in Starbucks as internet doesn't come till Saturday.
DD is in her new nursery and even though it is killing me when she screams when I leave, I know it's for the best.
So I'm here, in Harrogate, relocated from the big smoke to this lovely town and I don't have 1 friend here .
I welcome all responses from mums (or dads) that would like to offer me words of advice on where to go and what to do with 22month year old in and around Harrogate.

Yes, I'm still around, although changed work hours as ds has started school (3.75) - so I now work Fri mornings, but pick ds up at 1 and am free after that.

Hi Harrogate crew. I'm really excited. If all goes to plan I'll be moving to Harrogate this summer after 20 years away. I've been on MN since 2001 (more of a lurker than a poster and namechanged today) and have always kept an eye on the Harroagte threads. Am so excited that I might finally be coming home.

Hope you don't mind if I chip in now and again in the next few months. With any luck I'll be needing advice about schools & houses. Got my fingers crossed that all goes according to plan
