New to Harrogate!

Having just left all the boxes stacked up in my new house, I am now sat in Starbucks as internet doesn't come till Saturday.
DD is in her new nursery and even though it is killing me when she screams when I leave, I know it's for the best.
So I'm here, in Harrogate, relocated from the big smoke to this lovely town and I don't have 1 friend here .
I welcome all responses from mums (or dads) that would like to offer me words of advice on where to go and what to do with 22month year old in and around Harrogate.

Hi guys, well Niamh was asleep before we got to Beckwithshaw-bless her!!!! ANYWAY another meet up on 13 June anyone? I SHOULD be able to make it, but will be between packing as off to Dorset on 14th-but will still be going swimming-unless it's school Holiday time?

We had a walk around Valley Gardens afterwards. It was lovely - we lay down on the grass and looked up at the trees (a source of endless fascination when you are 3 months old).

I should be able to make it on 13 June, unless the weather's terrible (will be coming on public transport again).

13th sounds fine - after swimming, so same time (11.15ish)?

William was asleep well before Leeds and I managed to get him out of the car and into bed without properly waking him up

I'm sorry guys, it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to make it on Friday-too much to do before we go away & realised that I've got a hair appt at 12.30-so will be REALLY pushing it!! Hope you all have good meet up & I'll see you all after my hol!!

Hi guys, back from a FAB holiday, BUT unfortunately I'm not going to be able to meet this Friday cos I'm in Northumberland on a weekend volunteering for the Search & Rescue Dogs Assoc. as a dogsbody. Hope can meet the following Friday, although it would be better earlier due to fact that swimming lessons at the Hydro are governed by the term.

I've just confirmed that lessons are on until 18th July, from then it would be better earlier.

Let me know - our lessons have finished, so not time constrained, although can go back to previous Friday coffee mornings that we used to go to prior to swimming...

I have a long walk to the bus stop which I love if it's sunny but not if it's rainy..... I need better shoes that do not leak!!!

Hi everyone-can't do Fri 18th July due to wedding in the afternoon (not till 4-but @ studley royal) & have hair appt at midday-hopefully should be back to it next Fri. Hope everyone's good & all your LO's are aswell? See you all soon.

Hi - I have just found this thread - I am in Harrogate too. I have been on mn for a few months but only just found the meet ups! I have a 4 1/2 year old dd (who is at a school mentioned on this thread) and a 21 month ds.
Anyone still around?

Hi, everything seems to have gone quiet for quite a few months, but I'm still up for a meet, Niamh'll go to park anytime of the yr-bless her!! Although it maybe a better idea to find an indoor play area-I don't know of any in Harrogate.

Hi. A meetup would be great! Are you not in Harrogate? There are a couple of soft play centres here. I like Kidzplay (used to be the Time Machine) best. How old is Niamh?

Hi, I live on Otley, so not too far, and regularly come over to Harrogate. I went to school at St Aidan's. Niamh's 3.25-going on 13!!LOL!!.
