thought I'd start a new thread for those of us meeting up at Dynamic Earth at 12pm on Thursday 21st February - as the last heading was rather "vague" to say the very least

I think there's another "proper" Scottish meet-up begin planned - (saw the thread further down "meet-ups" - but I wanted to do one while I was up in Edinburgh for the week, and preferably one I could take the DS's to LOL.....so I'm organising my own

Ooooh, can I come to this? I happen to be off work that day. Me + 2 children. Not sure of the details other than date, time and Edinburgh, but once all organised I can sort that out (have my own transport) - I would love to meet you!!

I'll be bus-ing in from Gilmerton with my DS's (actually I'll probably already been in town so I'll just wander down).

I used to be QoQ, Gwenick, QueenOfQuotes etc etc. I'm not in Edinburgh - but Dh and I are having a week apart to consider how/what we want to happen with our relationship - I'm spending it with my DB up there and am turning into the half-term holiday for the DS's . Knew there were a few MN'ers up there (although didn't really know who) so thought I'd try and fill at least one bit of the time with a meet-up

I'm not in Edinburgh, in Lanark. But I'm happy to travel if that is ok

I'd never heard of Dynamic Earth until someone on my rather vague "can we do a meet-up between x and y dates" thread mentioned it LOL

apparently it's £1.50 for the soft play or free if you pay for the ticket for the whole thing......but people have been known to just wander in and stay and play without paying (so I hear)

can you get a babysitter one night and we can meet in evening with wine

that sounds fabulous - my DB has offered to babysit on at least one night when I'm up....I'm supposed to be arranging to meet up with Karen999 for wine one night.....but not sure what's happening with that. We could all meet up together? Or if Karen can't come we could go on our own.
