Probables/possibles

Motherhurdicure + 3 children
Mawbroon + 1 child
Liath + 2 children
2happy + 2? children

FAQ · 17/02/2008 18:07

my brother took that photo of me and DS3 at Craigmillar castle yesterday LOL.

OP posts:
mawbroon · 17/02/2008 18:39

What a shame at you cringing naily! It really doesn't bother me. Most people I know in RL think I am a bit odd anyway, so me sititng there with a bit of paper saying MN would not be so unusual....

FAQ · 17/02/2008 18:42

I wouldn't be bothered by a piece of paper either. Most of the people I know in RL who's opinion bothers me already know I have "virtual" friends LOL

FAQ · 19/02/2008 10:45

just wondering - I know it's £1.50 per child for the soft play.........is that all ages - ie do I have to pay for DS3 (8 months) as well? He rolls, but he doesn't even crawl yet////////

OP posts:
liath · 19/02/2008 11:42

The only time I've been was when dd was about 10 months or so and they charged for her. There was a reasonably good sensory area for babies IIRC. Mind you, I think it's possible to sneak in without paying!!

FAQ · 19/02/2008 11:47

lol liath yes I had heard it was possible to sneak in without paying ..........not that I would even consider doing such a thing

Hi FAQ! Hope you and boys are having a nice time....are you still on for Friday night??

FAQ · 19/02/2008 12:12

yes still up for Friday night - shan't be drinking much as my budget is now very small (£25) and I have to get a taxi back here afterwards which I'm led to believe is going to cost about £9-10 ........I shall just drink VERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRY slowly LOL.

Having a great time - went to the Butterfly farm yesterday and I held a tarantula (I class it as being above and beyond the call of duty of being a parent - I'm terrified of spiders but wanted to encourage the DS's......so I held my hands out, looked at my brother, smiled and then looked at my hands AFTER it had been removed LOL).

DS's held the snake and DS1 also held the tarantula.

Off to see a friend of mine this afternoon, then going to my old Headteachers house for lunch tomorrow !

Thursday is the MN Soft play meet-up, Friday I've promised we can go back to the musuem (DS1 wants to see the F1 car again LOL), Friday night - child free and then home on Saturday......

nailpolish · 19/02/2008 12:22

faq im glad you are having a good time with the boys

you could get the bus home on friday, they tend to run all night. if you are worried about it being late just sit near the driver. what bus number do you get?

Karen999 · 19/02/2008 12:23

Sounds like you have had a good week so far. Why not get the last bus back? Save you some money. I will be getting the last train back so wont be out for too long. Also, DD2's 1st birthday the following day and I dont want to be hungover!! Think perhaps where you are you can also get the 'night bus' if you want to stay out longer of course....
