thought I'd start a new thread for those of us meeting up at Dynamic Earth at 12pm on Thursday 21st February - as the last heading was rather "vague" to say the very least

So far we have got

Cali + 2 children
FAQ + 3 (eeek!) children

Probables/possibles

Motherhurdicure + 3 children
Mawbroon + 1 child
Liath + 2 children
2happy + 2? children

Oh yes, it's still closed. Had to take a diversion when I was down that way this morning. I think I will take the bus actually. DS loves the bus.

my DS's are getting a little fed up with buses - all the way from Moredun to Fountainbridge (and back) today, another long one tomorrow as we're going to Stockbridge (going to my old headmasters house for lunch LOL).

And then of course the dreaded 8hr trip again on Saturday......

Yes, seems like the 36 is the only one. I was just planning to get a bus to the bridges and walk.

where would you get off? the high st? i might do that if its not raining. the 36 is a rubbish bus. is there parking?

nailpolish - yes, I would get off just on south bridge and walk down the royal mile. There is a pay and display car park across the road from the parliament outside the palace, but it's not that big so you might be pushed to get a space.

And yes, I am coming out on Friday. I might have to wear a top that I have already worn in the presence of MNetters, but you will just all have to lump it.
