thought I'd start a new thread for those of us meeting up at Dynamic Earth at 12pm on Thursday 21st February - as the last heading was rather "vague" to say the very least

So far we have got

Cali + 2 children
FAQ + 3 (eeek!) children

Probables/possibles

Motherhurdicure + 3 children
Mawbroon + 1 child
Liath + 2 children
2happy + 2? children

we'll have to plan a summer one - if I book far enough in advance it looks like I could fly up (and back again) for just under £50.....so easily budgetable

aGalChangedHerName · 25/02/2008 13:45

Can i just check with DH that he is off first? Another night in Edinburgh with a stonking hangover the next day with no Dh to look after the dd's might kill me lol

nailpolish · 25/02/2008 13:46

ok. ill have to check with dh too. just to make sure hes not booked that weekend away in paris (yeah right!)

aGalChangedHerName · 25/02/2008 13:53

Ok will speak to him tonight. You have as much chance of a weekend away as me then eh?

Having said that DH wants to arrange a day/night away but no chance of my mum doing it so a night out sounds great!

nailpolish · 25/02/2008 13:56

dh is taking me to a v posh hotel this weekend. he is going to a conference thingy and the hotel is so posh and luverly i begged i fi could go too

its mothers day and i feel a bit guilty that i wont be ther on sunday morning for my breakfst in bed from my girls...

Lilliput · 25/02/2008 14:09

I'm fine. Finally dh has a job starting this week. As lovely as it has been having him a home the last few months I will be glad when he's back at work and out of my face. The meet up sounded like it was a good laugh!

nailpolish · 25/02/2008 14:11

thats great! how are the wee ones? i was at the zoo during half term and i was thinking about when we were there last...!

we should mmeet up again soon

Lilliput · 25/02/2008 14:16

The kids are great. Lily is really enjoying school, she a right goody two shoes. Reuben is totally Sportacus obsessed at the mo, we went to LazyTown Live last Thursday which was so funny. The guy playing Sportacus was not a patch on Magnus, he was able to do all the moves but he was slightly chubby! How about your two? Is Melanie getting on ok at school?

nailpolish · 25/02/2008 14:45

she loves school. its amazing how quickly they learn isnt it? their little brains are like sponges. i have biff and chip coming out of my ears though, do you have that too?

and K just ADORES nursery. it took ehr a while but now she loves it so much. she says home is "boring" ?!! her teachers say they havent seen a child enjoy nursery as much as she does for a long time

when are your easter holidays? perhaps i could come and visit you! you have always been up my way in the past. do you want to come out for drinks in april? weve pencilled in the 12th

nailpolish · 25/02/2008 14:46

oops ahve to go for schol run (i suspect uou do too)

speak soon x

mawbroon · 25/02/2008 19:25

Have also pencilled in 12th

Hello Lilliput.

prettybird · 26/02/2008 09:28

I'll not be able to join you on the 12th: I'll be in South Africa!

Sounds like you had a fabulous time.

BTW - my birthday is in April too - on the 6th. But I bet I'll be older than all of you!
