My mum just arrived and let herself in. Apparenty DS rang her whilst I was in the shower and didn;t hang up so she couldn't call back to check I was OK. She arrived thinking I had fallen down the stairs and instructed DS to call (he's not actually smart enough yet to understand numbers!)

Better than the police I guess.

Gosh, Facebook is really addictive, have been on it for past 2hrs DS nearly asleep now. Park might be good plan his afternoon

rosmonster · 18/10/2007 14:16

Ds still asleep though think he's going to wake up in the next 30mins or so!

Sj - just don't get onto Scrabble, you'll never get anything done!

SJ99 · 18/10/2007 14:18

dare I ask how to get onto Scrabble? (I know I'm asking for trouble now...)

rosmonster · 18/10/2007 14:23

scrabulous [evil grin]

SJ99 · 18/10/2007 14:27

Ok will delay checking it out otherwise as you say I won't get anything done (like today!!)

Ros - No sleep this end, he keeps going quiet for periods then starts chatting, maybe he has been dozing for a bit. Anyway when your DS wakes let's meet anwyay and see how it goes. Maybe early bed for him tonight instead

rosmonster · 18/10/2007 14:39

Ok, ds awake now so will get him up & give you a call!

sfxmum · 18/10/2007 15:51

what a lovely day out

we made it to Kew just after 1pm after every muddy puddle had been jumped on, and every stone had been turned in a quest for creepy crawlers, or so it seemed to me.

dd also talked to everyone along the way, have no idea how she turned out so sociable

paddle saw your mum and dd but it did not click until they were well past us, your dd was in the buggy only curls visible, so it took a while to realise who it was.

SJ you are well and truly on the dark side

foxensteinscreature · 18/10/2007 18:31

Oh how dissappointng. When I came on here this morning you were all talking about me and now your not!!

I've been up since 4am when DS2 decided it was time to get up.

Am workinguntil 9pm tonight, but worked from home this morning so life is not so bad after all

How is everyone then?

SJ99 · 18/10/2007 19:11

Hello

Weather is very Swedish today, brilliant sunshine but cold, nice. We had a good day, nice to see Ros and DS, shoe twin to my DS funny they have the same shoes and wellies in the same size

Hope you're not feeling too tired Foxie if you've been up since 4am

SFX sounds like you had a nice day out too, must try and get to Kew one of these days.

Paddle - unfortunately the mac was too small for DS, was a very snug fit and I could imagine if he bent over he would split his pants Let me know when suits you for me to drop it back round, are you around this weekend maybe?

slng · 18/10/2007 20:00

Lots of people seem to be Kew regulars here. Does anyone know if they have chrysanthemums?
(I'm being very Chinese at the moment and want to see and show the kids chrysanthemums in autumn.) I guess we could go to a garden centre, but Kew is nice...

sfxmum · 18/10/2007 22:13

slng - most people on this thread have a season pass to Kew and it plays a huge part on keeping us relatively sane, at least speaking for myself - regarding chrysanthemums I am fairly sure one of the green houses has them, I believe the Temperate house but I am not certain, maybe the website will have details.

Foxie hope you are safely home and on way to a good night sleep.

nigh night all

Paddlechick666 · 19/10/2007 08:19

yawn. dd been up most of the night crying but not really awake. i had shocking tummy ache all day yesterday. very weird. just tummy ache all day.

right off to work for me.........

lemonaid · 19/10/2007 10:19

DS has gone to stay with SIL for the weekend (so that we can go to the rugby ) and I am feeling surprisingly weepy about it. I guess it must be the hormones, as he's been to relatives for weekends before and I've been fine with it.

sfxmum · 19/10/2007 10:37

lemonaid - so what are the chances of victory? is it prudent t save tears?have a lovely time

paddle sorry about your night, dd is also very loud during the night, yesterday she talked endlessly about Lula from Pocoyobetween that and dh's snoring I want my own room

want to take dd to Kew again today but hopefully towards the Badger set and Queen C's cottage just to avoid all the art lovers

Paddlechick666 · 19/10/2007 10:40

dd kept yelling "don't eat my eye!" which was very weird

poor sweetheart.

just hope she has a better night tonight!

ps: Go Bokke!

SushiMummy · 19/10/2007 11:02

Morning all! Lovely day again!

You lucky girl, lemon! Hope you have a nice time in Paris!

Sorry to hear about your disturbed night, paddle and sfx. I have been co-sleeping with DS last two weeks which helps everyone sleep better.

rosmonster · 19/10/2007 11:51

Have a nice time in Paris lemon!

Paddle, not supporting England ? Hope dd has a better night tonight, nothing like a disturbed night for feeling great

Meeting a friend at Kew this afternoon but will probably just go to C&C

SJ99 · 19/10/2007 12:58

Hi all

Have fab trip to watch Rugby Lemonaid
Sorry you had troubled nights SFX & PC. DS the same, woke up at 5am and couldn't get back to sleep til 6.30m. I think he's teething...Still he enjoyed being at playgroup this morning.

Hope your tummy ache has gone now Paddle

Has anyone been to the bunny farm? Would you recommend it? Where is it?

Right, more facebooking required, it is too addictive but great to see friends on there & have a nosey at their pics

rosmonster · 19/10/2007 13:29

hi sj, nice to see you yesterday & nice to find a playground with a cafe

The bunny farm is great actually. We did find it eventually, it's a bit hidden away! I'm useless with directions so hopefully someone can help!

Kewcumber · 19/10/2007 15:29

still got a shocking cold [sympathy emoticon] and found out last night how much it cost dsis to take whole family to paris for semi-finals (including Eurostar and 2 nights hotel). [shock[shock{needed resusitation emoticon]

Dunno, QC. 1000? Well, I'm sure it's well worth it. Hope you feel better soon. See you tomorrow!

sfxmum · 19/10/2007 16:35

KC would it buy a small flat? considering the numbers lemon was quoting last week
hope you feel better soon, much sympathy.

I have just run out of steam and can't wait for me time tomorrow

hope you are all well

xoxo · 19/10/2007 16:41

Hi all
supposed to be working, so will be quick.

Am cheesed off that noone thinks I look like fabby actress. Must try harder.

Snoring in our house is at epic proportions these days as we all have snotty colds (don't you just love the return to school germ fest?).

Hope everyone is enjoying this fab weather: the news said the weekend will be great.
