My mum just arrived and let herself in. Apparenty DS rang her whilst I was in the shower and didn;t hang up so she couldn't call back to check I was OK. She arrived thinking I had fallen down the stairs and instructed DS to call (he's not actually smart enough yet to understand numbers!)

Better than the police I guess.

We haven't arranged a meet up for this friday anyone (19th Oct)? I have on my "Organised mum" calendar that I am out 8pm on friday, but not where and for the life of me I can't figure out what it is!?!?!?!?!

Kew - I think sushi is weirder as I only got it after she said about the ice queen thing which made me think of Narnia!

We went to Kew G this pm, C&C was practically deserted which was very nice for ds!

Tilda Swinton does at least have red hair (although didn't in the Narnia film, admittedly).

Must've been my lucky day today, went to Woolies and there were loads of wellies (there weren't hardly any a few weeks ago) and I got the last pair of size 5 in the shop whch happened to be Bob the builder. I think DS likes them as he didn't want to let go of them when we reached the till He's been running around Twick green all afternoon and is out like a light now.

Ros I think weather is forecast same as today so we should try and do something outdoors. I'll be out in the morning so will check with you at lunchtime to make plans

just had my best friend from shcool contact me via friends reunited (which I haven't looked at for years). She's on her second marriage and had teenage children from her first

Nice to hear from her though we were great friends, not sure how we drifted apart - proximity I guess.

I must have woken up in a positive and optimistic frame of mind to think we would make it out of the house any time before midday!

lol sfx, ds had to have his toast on the way to Tumbletots he woke up so late today! But he was awake through the night as well so I wasn't going to get him up!

I'd love to live in a little seaside town or village but obviously not a touristy one!
