5am and the neighbours are kicking off again.

on friday i went round there and complained (quite nicely actually) about the constant noise from either the rows or the parties.

the guy apologised profusely and promised to keep it down.

so much for that.

am getting more and more furious with bro and blaming him for mum's accident.

tbh, the holiday will be ruined. mum won't be able to walk at all i don't think. we're staying on the side of a very steep hill. the house itself is on several levels.

clearly i can't sleep and now i've even disturbed my house guest by coming down here and getting online.

sometimes you just hit the wall eh!

Morning all. Horrible weather!

Mellow, I don't mind getting the product some other day. It's just too wet to do anything, isn't it? Well, it's up to you.

I hope you have a nice holiday despite your mum's accident.

good morning everyone

dh let me sleep till now after a disturbed night with dd, he is now off to work.
dd's cough still there so might ring GP in the morning.

sushi - that sounds like a fab and perfect day out for dd, but I think she would be scared of the steam noise, she jumps when the iron puffs

paddle - what a rotten thing to happen your poor mum. hope you all manage to have a nice time.

today we have more potty trainingwe went to buy new Charlie and Lola pants to help, she still doesn't yet takes them off before sitting on the potty, and it is often too late when i notice

Sushi,
It's up to you. We'll be going out anyway as dd will drive me mad with her whining if we don't go out.

Foxie,
I've got the shampoo in the post yesterday. I only had one sample so I put some in a little pot for you. Would it be alright to drop it off this afternoon?

mellow2 · 19/08/2007 11:06

Yes, dd will run from me if I have the hair dryer on but she's not afraid of the hoover.

Hi everyone

Mellow I'm just about to head out for amega walk. I've been trying to get out all day and want to do it before the weather gets even worse.

However, I am marooned here all day tomorrow, as I will be waiting for one of these to be delivered:

We've been meaning to get one for the last 4 years and DS1 keeps asking for a tent so we decided its better to get one of these, as it'll last them for years to come.

All we then have to do is construct the thing!

Report
sfxmum · 19/08/2007 13:22

that looks fab, I always wanted a tree house when I was a kid, never had that but we did build dens all over the garden

dd has done her 2nd poo in potty 2 days in a row (sorry tmi) but really chuffed

guess after a few successful weeks at home we can venture out without nappy

Report
mellow2 · 19/08/2007 13:27

That does look amazing.

Ok, foxie. I'll try to catch you tomorrow.

mellow, ds seems to be coming down with a cold. do you think we can do it next weekend? sorry.

foxie, fab! can we come and play?

sfx, sounds like dd has an infection? hope she gets better soon.

paddle, have a nice holiday, well, as much as you can.

well done little cub gosh they grow up so quickly

managed to take dd to playground today, good for both of us, I don't really like when dh works 14 days in a row. guess he doesn't like it either.

Sushi,
I just got your message. Yes, next week is fine.

We just got back from D&T. It was quite stressful trying to buy dd new shoes yet again.

Foxie,
Your life will be a lot easier now that DS2 can sit up.

Can I let you know 1st thing tomorrow? It really depends on what the weather is going to be like.

rosmerta · 19/08/2007 18:47

Hi all, we've been to Brent Cross today, god knows why

Mellow - I find it quite easy buying ds new shoes, its dh that's tricky, he's been looking now for months but just can't be bothered to try any on!

Well done foxcub & sfxcub on respective achievements

Ds seems to have started talking - we've had 'yes please', 'music', 'shoes', 'daddy' and 'mama' from him this weekend!

rosmerta · 19/08/2007 18:48

Oh mellow, meant to ask if I could get the salve and a body wash sample this week from you?

Report
foxcub · 19/08/2007 21:25

Well done little rosemerta chappie - all these milestones!

Mellow - that's fine - can you text me (i.e. not land line as it wakes DS2 if he's sleeping)? Thanks

Think wetaher forecast is cloudy but not much rain - getting hotter as week progresses

ros - well done little one, they decide to start and there is no stopping them.

mellow - was their collection not up to scratch? i am still planning on going for the special haircut sometime soon, probably with dh if he likes.
