Wotcha Bubble - how are you?

Kew - you naughty thing so IoW has electricity then does it?

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 08:02

Thanks, ros. Unfortunately, I don't have any pots/bottles left. I'll see if I can buy some sample size bottles from the manufacturer of the body wash.

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 08:17

Ros,
Would you like to come round to mine and have a cuppa sometime this week? Otherwise, I can drop off the salve when you're home.

Foxie,
I'll remember. Sorry that I've woken up ds2 by calling the landline. It's amazing how I have already forgotten that I myself had asked everyone to text when dd was a baby.

Sfx,
The shoes were nice enough.

This is the 2nd time in 3 months we've bought dd shoes. I wanted shoes that would take her through autumn but it was either canvas/sandals or full-on winter shoes.

And we're going to a party (IL's 40th anniversary) in a couple of weeks and the winter shoes didn't go with her summer party dress so we finally got her the same shoes in a larger size after trying out everything in the shop.

Kewcumber · 20/08/2007 09:33

Bubble - my sister has a house on the IOW and is away on holiday from today so has lent mum and I her house - so we have descended for 10 days.

Weather doesn;t look too bad today.

Ros,
I checked with the supplier. They don't have bottles I can buy off. There'll be more samples next month.

sfxmum · 20/08/2007 10:07

good morning everyone

hi bubble

mellow I have given up on 'shoes that go with'
at this age they grow too fast.
i will get her a pair of wellies today, i hope, then hold out another month or so for a pair of winter boots.

hope you all ok can't believe we slept till 9.30guess we both needed it.

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 10:20

I know I'm being silly but I'm a bit fanatical about matching outfits.

foxcub · 20/08/2007 11:26

Wish I'd had a lie in sfx - blasted delivery man woke me

Am soooooooooooo knackered.

Our lodger has gone away for 2 days which means I can Waynetta Slob around the house and not get dressed.

have 3 dvds to keep Dcs quiet and when DS2 sleeps, by God I am gonna sleep too!!!

Kew - hope you get good weather down there

Mellow - C U later in the week maybe

Playhouse is here anyway - it looks good (Kew I can just visualise your DS clambering up the steps as I type )

Right off to BF DS2 and hopefully he'll nod off

foxcub · 20/08/2007 11:27

Mellow - re. matching oputfits - I find wellies tend to go with everything

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 11:30

Foxie,
That's a great idea.

.

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 11:44

I can't wait to see the treehouse too.

mellow2 · 20/08/2007 13:19

sfx,
One small step has shops in Ealing and Notting Hill.

Here's the website

rosmerta · 20/08/2007 13:35

Hi mellow, no worries about the body wash, don't want to put you to any trouble. I'm free tomorrow all day and Weds pm atm

Foxie - I can't wait to see the treehouse either (shameless hint dropping!)

foxcub · 20/08/2007 13:48

Rose/mellow - I like the body wash - its better value than Occitance too and much purer

There is a huge one big step shoppy in Sheen (my fave haunt - Sheen that is, not shoe shops)

Mellow - guess what I found last night? A practically unused tub of Clinique eye cream!! Very strange that I could buy the overpriced stuff and then think I'd used it up when I'd hardly touched it. Shows how "out with the faeries" I am atm

SJ99 · 20/08/2007 13:50

Hi All, hope you enjoyed your weekends. We went down to Dorset which was fab despite the horrible weather. Does anyone else feel like Oct's come early?

Ros - it was me texting but don't worry as DS didn't wake til 4pm so would've been tricky to meet anyway.

Mellow, would love to meet this week I just need to check I can get the car. Weds is good for me, how about you? I'm in Twickers

Well done on your LO's achivements Ros & Fox[thumbs up] Mine decided to have his first full blown tantrum in the cafe this morning, exit one embarrassed mummy & toddler

foxcub · 20/08/2007 13:50

L'Occtitane, not Occitance

SJ99 · 20/08/2007 13:52

Just saw playhouse link, it looks great!!

foxcub · 20/08/2007 13:54

Hi SJ How old is your DS again?

SJ99 · 20/08/2007 14:03

He's 20mths so I guess he's just starting the whole tantrum business. I think he was tired after all the entertainment at the weekend, our friends have 2 girls, 3 dogs and 2 ponies so it was a pretty full house How old are yours again?

rosmerta · 20/08/2007 14:05

sorry about that sj, how about meeting up this week some time?

ooh sunshine has just appeared!

SJ99 · 20/08/2007 14:21
