You beat me, QC! Well, I haven't seen my hairdresser for over a year...

mellow2 · 26/07/2007 14:11

You're right, QC. I'm .

But I'll still speak to you.

mellow2 · 26/07/2007 14:12

OK. We're off to Kew Retail then Foxie's.

'See' you all later.

stepfordwife · 26/07/2007 14:16

well, sushi, i'm dragging myself to the hairdressers on saturday after yonks, to sort my rampaging grey (although i tell the kids it's blonde) roots sorted..

an urgent phone call to my hairdresser was made after some bloke who started talking to me in the street (who i thought was 'chatting me up"..but i've forgotten what's that like, so maybe he just being friendly) asked me if i was dd's grandmother

then, on a more positive note, told me i had a lovely face. (mind you, by then i'd realised he was a bit tipsy so could be beer goggles syndrome). i managed to resist snarling:'what...for a grandmother, you mean?!

SushiMummy · 26/07/2007 14:25

LOL steppie!

DS pointed at a picture of this young beautiful Japanese model and said 'mimmy' (that is 'mummy' in his vocab). He made my day!! [smug emoticon]

Kewcumber · 26/07/2007 14:28

Sushi - I had my hair cut last Sept so I am much better groomed than you!

SushiMummy · 26/07/2007 14:41

Right, I'm ringing my hairdresser.

sfxmum · 26/07/2007 14:44

i go to the hairdresser every 8-10wksbit of a treat

foxcub · 26/07/2007 15:02

rosmerta · 26/07/2007 15:18

foxcub · 26/07/2007 18:25

'Twas indeed

Steppy and mellow - lovely to see you both and thanks for helping to make Tally's day a bit special for her. She loves her girly tiara, handbags and jewellery

Hope your DCs had a good time too and went home nice and tired!

see you both soon

xx

mellow2 · 26/07/2007 19:11

Thanks for having us. Dd and I had a great time.

She slept all the way and then said 'bye bye' to me when we got home which is her way of saying let's go out again.

Kewcumber · 26/07/2007 19:36

was it her birthday today Foxie - I thought it was shilst I was away? I'd have bought her a little somehting if I'd known.

stepfordwife · 26/07/2007 19:53

you and dd very welcome, foxie. she looked very bling, i must say.
thanx for having us and the yummy cake.

did i leave my keys there? on a wooden flower keyring. being locked out worked quite well as we went to the park and the brood ran off some sugar before we met dh at the station.

lovely to see you again mellow and mellow-ette.

stepfordwife · 26/07/2007 19:59

ds1 and ds2 are now requesting their own "running machine" !

rosmerta · 26/07/2007 20:44

Sorry about today foxie, ds ended up not waking up until 3.45pm and that was because I had to go get him!

Dh has said I can have the car on Tuesday so I can pop round then. Having said that, I'm sure I can have the car any other day as well!

foxcub · 26/07/2007 23:13

Steppy - its quite hard getting my Dcs off the machine so I can have a go. Managed 12 minutes tonight with DD standing next to me saying "when is it my turn???"

"When you are old and fat" I replied

I haven't seen your keys but will have a huunt round in the morning. Any ideas as to which room they might be in?

stepfordwife · 27/07/2007 08:36

good response, foxie! (but you're neither old or fat..(come on, you're yonger than me and positively svelte-like these days)

not sure if i have left keys at yours after all. (found my usual set at home so don't know if i bought a 'spare' set to yours) so please don't bother looking for them - but if you ever find dome random keys, i'm your woman..)

hello everyone else

stepfordwife · 27/07/2007 08:38

young and some, even..
can yoiu tell i haven't had my coffee yet?

sfxmum · 27/07/2007 09:27

good morning all

lovely to wake up with sunshine

absolutely going out as soon as the shopping shows up

but dreading dd's constant questioning of strangersjust how 2 cantankerous old farts produced a cheerful sociable little girl i will never know

SushiMummy · 27/07/2007 11:15
