i won't be back from Oxford with dd till about noon-ish i expect so think i'll miss it.

btw, met SJ99 today and her ds. they're lovely. no internet access at the mo but she's keen to hang out and meet people.

have told her to get kew pass sorted asap!

am slightly mollified by the fact that no one managed to hook up at kew today

ros, hope ds is feeling better.

dd flaked out at 7pm absolutely exhausted.

interview with ifa didn't go particularly well once he showed up but am hoping to sort things out tomorrow and get the mortgage approved.

sfxmum · 24/07/2007 22:27

hi Kew - i will not be going must spend some time with dh this weekend also think family visiting, hope the weather is good.

paddle hope you get it sorted we went through some brokers all very stressful.

wondering what to do with dd tomorrow if weather is wet again, had this all winter and now this awful summer.
dd has taken to chasing strangers saying 'stop stop wait then what's your name?

thankfully this is mostly with girls a little older than herself, feels like she is interviewing for an older sister

ComeOVeneer · 24/07/2007 22:48

Hi all. Back from a lovely meal, but the portions were big (am currently settling it with a peppermint tea ). Rosemerta managed to join us as ds was a bit better.

StarryStarryNight · 24/07/2007 22:57

It was so nice to meet you all, you are all lovely!

COV is right, portions were HUGE! I could only manage half of mine! (But I had eaten homemade red thai coconut curry prior to coming, well the kids had to eat.... and I had to keep them company!)

Getting a coffee!

how exciting. so happy for you. when?

stepfordwife · 25/07/2007 09:32

...is lemonaid-ette is due that is..not when he/she was conceived

lemonaid · 25/07/2007 09:34

Somewhere around 31 March to 3 April -- so veeeeeeeeery early days still, but cautiously optimistic. At least the test came up right away, unlike the last time when I got a teeny tiny very vague line.

stepfordwife · 25/07/2007 09:36

ah, lovely, spring bambino. look after yourself

ComeOVeneer · 25/07/2007 10:03

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!

I read yesterday's post and did wonder what it meant. Rather dimly I never contemplated pregnancy (DOH).

ComeOVeneer · 25/07/2007 10:08

Lemonaid, sign up for the meet-up at my house in Sept/Oct and we can all toast you in person

rosmerta · 25/07/2007 10:14

Congratulations Lemonaid, that's great news

Had a nice night last night, the food was lovely!

Ds had a bit of a restless night and I had to deal with a particularly foul nappy at 4am but he's pretty much back to normal today. I'm never giving him a curry again . Thanks for asking!

I'm around this pm if anyone wants to meet up?

ComeOVeneer · 25/07/2007 10:20

This thread is nearly full, so have taken the liberty of starting up a new one here

Paddlechick666 · 25/07/2007 10:25

mellow2 · 25/07/2007 10:52

Hi mellow

Well I am waiting for this blessed delivery atm. If it comes I will be off out like a shot (need to buy card and cake for DD for tomorrow and feeling very guilty I haven't already done that)

But chances are it won't arrive until 5.55pm or something (delivery time: "between 7am-6pm!)

Give a call on the moby before you intent to come, just to check we are still in - R U still coming to DD's mini picnic tomorrow?

Lemonaid - that's so fantastic - congratulations to you and your DP

Its funny but I felt when I read it!!!

Find me a chastity belt someone, pronto!1

Oxo are you around this arvo too?
