Brand new thread for July.

OP posts:
foxcub · 23/07/2007 21:22

My exotic family:

www.eniar.org/events/Sorryday2007.html

When they got home from this deeply cultural event, I asked if the DCs enjoyed themselves. DD answered: "Yes...daddy took us to MacDonalds on the way home!!!"

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 21:22

You are most welcome!

rosmerta · 23/07/2007 21:25

lol foxie!

Thanks starry, looking forward to meeting you tomorrow then!

foxcub · 23/07/2007 22:03

Has everyone put their names down yet for Nanou's leaving do and the meet up at Cov's??

If not, get thee over to the relevant threads!

ComeOVeneer · 23/07/2007 22:07

Rosmerta, I have postponed the meet at mine until Sept/Oct. If you can make it (people are offering lifts btw) it would be great. I will def see you tomorrow though.

sfxmum · 23/07/2007 22:14

hi everyone

am a bit lost, since dh worked yesterday i keep thinking today is tuesday, most confusing

hope you are all well

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 22:25

Can I just say : What a fab name ComeOVeneer is??

Kewcumber · 23/07/2007 22:34

creep - are you after free dental care?

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 22:37

I am thanking you most gracefully for that adjective.

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 22:44

How tactless, two offences in one:
Calling me a creep, and insinuating I am after something, now that is a first, I am not easily offended, but this takes the cake.

What is your problem Kewcumber, I compliment COV on her name and you butt in and call me a creep?

ComeOVeneer · 23/07/2007 22:47

???

foxcub · 23/07/2007 23:00

Eh?

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 23:00

Sorry COV, it seems I have been speaking out of turn, complimenting your name. Is there some sort of rulebook I have missed? Where does it say that you get free dental care in return for compliments, lol? You a dentist?

I like your name. It reminds me of childhood. Tell you why some other time.

foxcub · 23/07/2007 23:05

Starry she is a dentist!

StarryStarryNight · 23/07/2007 23:10

Yes, I am beginning to realize.... I was just joking about the rulebook.

xoxo · 24/07/2007 08:36

sfxmum · 24/07/2007 09:32

lovely sunny day will do packed lunch and head out, possibly ending up at kew as per usual.
dd really needs lots of running around after being stuck indoors yesterday.

xoxo-hope not too much of a shock getting back to this sahm lark.

StarryStarryNight · 24/07/2007 09:39

Enjoy the nice weather if you can!
I have to take the kids up to central london to the embassy, should be fun! Will swing by Peter Jones for some mediocre lunch, and a great panoramic view over London after!

Sushimummy and sfxmum, you coming tonight?

MrsRecycle · 24/07/2007 09:40

pc - my dad doesn't wear make-up - it scares the kids off (and future husbands!!)

Foxie - I can't believe you brought a treadmill - my dh got given one off a house move and we've yet to use it. He's had a full gym from people moving who left them behind. We even had a stepper that made a great garden ornament and a rowing machine that my dds loved more than their swing.

SushiMummy · 24/07/2007 09:42

Starry, I wish I could.

Have a piece of gindara (grilled black cod) for me!

sfxmum · 24/07/2007 09:44

hi sushi - i'm afraid i can't go out to play anytime soon - enjoy

oh treadmill! wistful longing for former gym's contraptions, it could be programmed ahead for a circuit....

hi mrsR

sfxmum · 24/07/2007 09:46

hi sushi yes bu meant to answer starry

clowns can be fun,but not keen on happy clowns
keeping in line with the whole depressive theme

MrsRecycle · 24/07/2007 10:18

hi sfx!! unhappy clown - yep that'd be my dad!
