Stop fretting Kew, he was fine....

Actually I didn't look out for him but I know he was fine 'cos he always looks very happy wheh I see him at the school. Gives me a cute smile

quokka · 21/06/2007 14:34

sfxmum · 21/06/2007 15:03

dh is home today so dd is not the least bit interested in me

foxcub · 21/06/2007 16:58

Kew - you just gotta walk away you know. 10 minutes after you go he would have forgotten all about it - but you'll be worried about him all day!! Its much harder for the Mum than for the child!

foxcub · 21/06/2007 16:59

sfx - make the most of it!!

sfxmum · 21/06/2007 18:12

so excited! got tickets for the festival
in 20 days
i imagine dd heckling the comedians 'i don't like it buzz off'
(the buzz off she got from a Julia Donaldson book)

camping with a 2yrs old

stepfordwife · 21/06/2007 19:41

sfxmum · 21/06/2007 21:15

rosmerta · 21/06/2007 22:07

Evening all, last post before I head off to bed. Early start tomorrow and we're hoping to get off before ds wakes up so he won't be upset by us leaving!

Have a good weekend & see you next week!

stepfordwife · 21/06/2007 22:32

have a fab time in NY, ros. and happy birthday...
youngster...
enjoy!

Kewcumber · 21/06/2007 22:59

ack-choo-arly Cm said it took AT LEAST 20 mins to settle him (my emphasis not hers but was chortling like a good-un when I picked him up. He's such a bugger getting to sleep these days, doesn't like being left on his own. I'm back to doing gradual withdrawal (or is that a method of birth control?)

Kewcumber · 21/06/2007 23:00

ooh ys have a lovely time - visit the Frick collection for me. My favorite place in New York

foxcub · 22/06/2007 07:29

Morning all

sfx - you're right - who'd camp in Edinburgh - far too cold!!

Is your a music fest, an arts fest?

The only fests I seem to get to nowadays are bitch fests

quokka · 22/06/2007 07:36

morning foxy! I did my last music festival before the kids came along. It was my first and last in uk. It ended up being a mudslide - not much fun and we were not very well prepared. Actually losta shoe!

Lol about gradual withdrawl QC . Is that what they told you!

Kewcumber · 22/06/2007 09:07

no comment Quokka...

Foxie are you around for coffee after school?

foxcub · 22/06/2007 09:42

Kew - yes I should be back about 3.45pm.

Christy Moore is on Desert Island Discs

My all time favourite and he's choosing fantastic trad Irish music for all his discs

foxcub · 22/06/2007 09:43

Quokka - you had a traditional English experience me thinks, with the mudslide

sfxmum · 22/06/2007 09:55

quokka · 22/06/2007 10:12
