oooh I'd like a spa weekend too - can Monti come?

Must use my Aboriginal massage voucher soon!

have invited some of my postnatal thread round for lunch tomorrow and am getting as the house is its usual tip!!

MrsRecycle · 31/05/2007 20:56

I thought I killed the last thread and I've just found you lot hiding here!

pudding77 · 31/05/2007 21:40

yeah, we're hiding from you MrsR

Ele, I'd be up for the spa weekend, sounds great! Hope you enjoyed your session with Nicky. Out of curiosity, is she going to do the PTA thingy for you?

Sfx - are you doing the same course as me then, with the NCT? I'm so excited about starting it, I can't wait!

foxcub · 31/05/2007 22:24

Hi MrsR [waves] - what was the weather like at the seaside today?

It was really sunny and warm here - though the forecast had said rain all day

Eleusis · 01/06/2007 08:15

Mornin everyone. Nicky was lovely, as always. Yes, Pudding, she is doing our PTA "Ladies Night".

MrsR, you going to get off your backside and check your e-mail or what?

ComeOVeneer · 01/06/2007 09:24

Morning all. The house seems strange without the children. We had a lovely evening, out for dinner then a movie. We are sorting out the new kitchen this morning then over to Kingston for dimsum. The last week I have spent more time with dh alone than I have probably since ourhoneymoon (7 years ago). It is comforting to know that we still get on and have plenty of other things to do/chat about other than the children.

CoV stop making me !!! new kitchen too huh?

Ele - MrsR is at her caravan so can only access e-mails when she pops across to the club hut thingy, where the wireless connection is rigged up.

Morning everyone else - looks like a sunny one. Some of my postnatal thread are coming over for lunch today

I'd invite you lot but your kids all seem to be unconcious at lunchtime !!

Eleusis · 01/06/2007 10:11

If she can access MN, she can access e-mail. She is an IT geek after all. Surely she could check her e-mail. (Eleusis stomps off in disgust)

pudding77 · 01/06/2007 10:14

Anyone around this weekend? I'm being abandoned again!

Eleusis · 01/06/2007 10:48

The sun is out, Pudding. There is no one here.

Eleusis · 01/06/2007 10:51

Hi all! Hope everyone is enjoying the sun today. I'm stuck in my office so very .

It's been a very stressful week due to DS's operation which went ok. DS is full of beans, running around like mad.

Am tempted to 16 June but DH is still recovering from Glandular Fever so maybe I should give it a miss this month. Sorry.

Have a lovely weekend!

Eleusis · 01/06/2007 12:20

You are wecome if you change your mind.

Glandular fever? Gosh, where did he pick that up?

SushiMummy · 01/06/2007 12:31

He blames DS who gets lots of kisses at the nursery. I don't know how he got it tbh, especially it's mostly teens get this disease.

mellow2 · 01/06/2007 13:00

Hello sushimummy,

I'm Chinese with an English dh and a 13-month old dd. I don't think I said hello last time you were on the thread. I've been AWOL for a while as RL has been hectic.

SushiMummy · 01/06/2007 13:16

Hi Mellow2! DH is English but speaks Chinese and Japanese fluently. Where do you live?

mellow2 · 01/06/2007 15:04

I live in Brentford. Dh used to speak a smattering of Cantonese when he lived in HK and he's learning Mandarin with dd.

Do your kids speak Japanese?

Kewcumber · 01/06/2007 15:16

hi am a bit elusive at the moment as baby gherkin is ill - had the most horrendous temp last night (we both got about 2 hrs sleep) but seems not too bad today. No other symtoms that I can see so hopefully just a one night wonder.

If I can make any night it will be the friday but will add later.

SushiMummy · 01/06/2007 16:56

QC - hope your DS gets well soon.

Mellow2 - I talk to DS in Japanese all the time and he seems to understand well.

DH speaks Mandarin. My SIL is Russian so my family is quite a melting pot, really.

foxcub · 01/06/2007 18:50

Hi everyone

Had a fab day today with some of my post natal thread and QC (honoury member) - spooky seeing other babies the same age as Ds2, with the same body language!

We had homemade cous cous, chocolate cake and champagne - life is good

DS2 has found his feet and keeps grabbing them

foxcub · 01/06/2007 21:57

WTF is everyone??????

You can't all be watching the footie surely???

foxcub · 01/06/2007 22:10

WTF is everyone!!!????

foxcub · 01/06/2007 22:52

OK, WTf is everyone?
