dd has a new trike too but sdad put his back out a week ago so it's not assembled yet! i'll have a go at it this arvo. bro is coming over too so am sure he'll be full of "that's not how you do it" and "oh god just let me" this'll be after i've cleverly made a hash of it LOL!

d'you think she should wear her bike helmet? or am i being over-protective lol.

MIL has sent a lovely card and a voucher and a tidy sum of "pocket money" for dd which is really kind of her.

I've just been rummaging through some clothes in the garage, and found some 2-3 yr girl stuff. Does anyone want some hand me downs? DD is quite thin/small so better suited to petite figures (unlike mine!).

Foxie, I found a 12 really cute Osh Gosh B'gosh smow suit which I obviously forgot to unpack for DS a year and a half ago (I hate when that happens!). Do want it for the cub? It might be the right size for him this coming winter.

The gherkin is heaps better - had another bad night last night but is back to his abbering running around self today.

Foxie - I also have some autumn winter stuff from Ele and a few bits from Nanou and stuff I bought which will fit him I guess around autumn.

I could accept that logic, Kew, if her user id was SFX'sMum or even sfxsmum. But since I have no clue what sfx stands, I'm afraid I still prefer minisfx. Of course if she has another we may need to get a tad more creative.

ele - I would have replied to your mail but everytime I posted a reply, the wireless crashed. It was quick and easy to post on mumsnet though - a second to do. Makes a change eh?

foxie - the past two days have been lovely - I've even been able to top up my tan. You should have come down Weds/Thurs.

Oh if anyone is interested in my AP saga - I go back to work on Monday, my old AP left last week and the new AP was meant to start today but couldn't get an internal flight to the connecting flight to get to London. So I've kidnapped my friend's daughter from the caravan park - she has two weeks holidays - and she is looking after my dds for the next 2 weeks. Yes foxie - it's the one you met who you thought was lovely!

Quokka - Stitch seems to be making herself at home and has already found a hiding place. Thanks for all the bits for her.

KewC - just to let you know that DS2 had a complete screamathon all the way home!

Foxie - I could see he was just gearing up for a good scream! Funny that I spotted DD's hat, I'm not normally that observant about what anyone is wearing and I almost walked past it. Glad I decided to ring. Am holding it for ransom!!!

think DS is better - he is chattering (well shrieking ) away to himself in bed, hasn't done that for a while. Please let him sleep tonight (Kewcumber gives pious glance upwards)
