Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 06:23

hey mate! was thinking about you last night and wondering how you were going.

good to hear from ya luv,

quokka · 10/06/2007 06:28

hello! How are you? trying to find window locks, as we have realised living on the 18th floor has its dangers!

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 06:37

oh my lord! dont they already have locks?

how's that fridge?

am okay thanks......

got yahoo?

quokka · 10/06/2007 06:42

no they don't! we have floor to ceiling windows and halfway up they open out all the way out, so all the little buggers have to do is get a chair and they can hang out!

quokka · 10/06/2007 06:57

yes, should be ok on yahoo

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 07:28

you're using an older version - i can't buzz you!

what's the time diff anyway? 8 hours ahead?

quokka · 10/06/2007 07:43

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 07:58

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 08:40

hello quokka!

Paddle - where have you been?

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 08:41

fancy the anglers this evening Quokka?

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 08:49

hi QC, i've been busy selling my flat, working and worrying about life the universe and everything.........

PMT and a case of the blues isn't a good combo!

pudding77 · 10/06/2007 09:42

hi paddle, nice to see you!

Foxie, I was with dh as well, watching Dr Who & MNing on the sofa!

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 12:37

come to the anglers Paddle...

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 12:39

just put dd down for her nap.

2 big teeth coming thru aren't helping her mood!

what time for the anglers? was thinking about a wander around kew gardens somewhere quiet and shady......

quokka · 10/06/2007 13:07

boo hoo I want to come . Instead I'm trying to find a solution to the boys throwing themselves from the 18th floor windows - why didn't dh think of this???!!!

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 13:26

how about insect netting Quokka?

Paddle, I was thinking post nap - say 3ish to 6ish (tea there). Foxie might come, and maybe Eleusis too. Don't know if there's any shady spots there but its worth trying to see hoe toddler friendly it is (as opposed to child freindly which I gatehr it is)

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 13:37

has anyone tried the Hare and Hounds in Shen as it has a large garden and childrens area apparentlt. Just read the reviews for the Anglers and they are truly dreadful. Or how about a pint on Richmond green?

Paddlechick666 · 10/06/2007 14:21

QC, would love to catch up later but coffers too low for having tea out I'm afraid.......

Richmond Green sounds good to me tho - could stretch to an ice-cream!

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 15:05

DS still asleep so am going to go for the lazy option of Kew Gardens when he wakes if anyone wants to join me.

pudding77 · 10/06/2007 16:14

Sounds lovely KC, but am starting my course tomorrow so need to look through the handbook today!

foxcub · 10/06/2007 16:32

KewC - R U sayimg you don't trust my opinion??

I've read those reviews and they were written by men who hate the fact that the Anglers is full of women, buggies and small kids!!

It is fabulous, but hey, I can't make people go [hmmpphh!]

I went to a place in Sheen with a playground (think its the same one) - very lovely but tres expensive!

have been writing my grievance all day......

foxcub · 10/06/2007 16:34

Quokka Hi [waves nadly]

So lovely to hear from you!!!

Kewcumber · 10/06/2007 19:41

No the Hare and Hounds is deffo not expensive - its a local pub - have been there for a drink just not realised that they had a garden. Its on the main road near the cross roads at sheen lane.

Is Anglers play area suitable for toddlers? Do trust your opinion but you weren;t here when I said it!
