my mum said boogie tots was a mixed success he was a little young for some of it but was so excited by Bob the Builder and the Wheels on the bus that she was afraid that he was going to have a heart attack! She said she is going to try going and sitting in the cafe when its on so he can her the music then take him properly in a few months and he can join in a little more.

Eleusis · 09/05/2007 21:11

Pudding,
I sent Nicky an e-mail afew days ago and haven't heard back from her. Do you know if she got it?

Quokka,
I never seem to get it together to call your lovelu aromatherapy woman at a normal woking hour. Do you by chance have an e-mail address for her. I don't know a whole lot, but the event is on 12 July at the school in Twickenham. I am interested if she is.

I am clearly lacking in the organisation department. I was supposed to go by and pick up new books for the Sunday School I teach from the guy who runs the groups. I forgot to go (which is all Mrs Recycles fault for cancelling onme tonight). Anyway, so my doorbelll rang at 8:00. And ther he was: he brought the books to me. And I was in my pyjamas and typing on the laptop with beer in hand. Wasn't I impressive? Oh well, I'm a volunteer and you get what you pay for.

Paddlechick666 · 09/05/2007 21:43

lol ele, you crack me up!

suejonez · 09/05/2007 21:58

sleep bags ordered paddle your share of postage is only £1. Ele - did he stirke you off the sunday school list as being an unsuitable role model?

Paddlechick666 · 09/05/2007 22:04

nice one, thanks sue

sfxmum · 10/05/2007 10:02

hello all

sue - i think those songs are always huge favourites. dd does not always join in she likes the pompoms ribbons and tambourines but half the time she just wanders off dping her thing

hope everyone ok, look sunshine but guess it will not last

quokka · 10/05/2007 10:16

ele you can call her anytime doesn't have to be during business hours, would be harder to get her on email! She's really interested and waiting for you to call.

sorry to hear about tooth probs sfx, I'm waiting till we move and hoping its cheaper than the uk!

Mrsr will have to sort out a day for you to come here and see cat!

heres a link to where we are moving to

foxcub · 10/05/2007 10:16

Ele - good example of multi-tasking me thinks - lap top, beer etc

Sue - LOL at your DS's excitement at Boogie Tots!! I just saw him on the school run with Brenda - he's sooo cute

pudding77 · 10/05/2007 10:26

Hi all,

Ele - I'll give her a call and see.

Quokka - , that place looks great

MrsRecycle · 10/05/2007 11:16

Oh go on blame me Ele - I suppose I opened the beer for you and put it in your hand as well .

Well I am feeling completely flu-ed out at the moment and have lost my voice. dh laughed when he heard me on the phone and said I bet our dds are having a party at the moment without me being able to shout at them.

Quokka it looks beautiful - just the type of place I'd chose to go on holiday to. So if you're taking bookings, we're first in the queue. dd2 keeps on and on and on and on about the cat and "when are we getting it?". I'm planning on going to meet my friend in Chiswick next Thursday so, if you're free I might pop round for a coffee afterwards. I can then take a picture and do a count-down chart for her!

Paddlechick666 · 10/05/2007 11:42

quokka, beautifully crafted built in wardrobes eh!

i'd move to s'pore for some of them, and the fridge of course!

please please please can I come with you?

Eleusis · 10/05/2007 11:46

If you hadn't cancelled dinner I would have forgotten to by and get the books. So, it's your fault.

Eleusis · 10/05/2007 11:46

wouldn't

foxcub · 10/05/2007 11:56

Quokka - hey when can we visit then?

Benny Who? Just how old do you think I am?

Have emailed you back.

Foxie - he is so cute isn't he Foxie - I know I'm biased but you just can't get away from it. It does make me sad sometimes to think that there's a woman out there somewhere who has no idea what a lovely boy she produced.

stepfordwife · 10/05/2007 13:31

..old enough to know better than to pretend you don't remember benny hill..

Hi all. Haven't been around for a while as RL has been interfering with my MN time. Damn nuisance when that happens. Just finished the garden today. Beautiful new lawn and lovely new plants (spent way too much at the garden center), so I for one am quite pleased the weather has gone downhill, so hopefully they will all bed in nicely and not die from dehydration. Also makes it easier to keep kids indoors as they aren't allowed on the grass for a fortnight.

Can't see the place in Singapore Quokka, it is just showing a blank (blue) screen. But sounds similar to the type of apartment we lived in Chicago (although there you probably have more open space, as we were in downtown ). this is where we lived in a georgeous 3 bed apartment on the 33rd floor with spectacular views(boy do I miss it).

Are we still on for Saturday morning (mile for Maude). Is it pay and display parking, at what time exactly are we meeting? What is the weather forecast and are we planning of staying for a picnic lunch? Questions, questions .

Will read the rest of the thread now to catch up on all the news/gossip.

Nanou1 · 10/05/2007 15:09

Nanou1 · 10/05/2007 16:13

Eleusis · 10/05/2007 16:35

Right, DD and I are half packed. When can we come? She loves planes and will be thrilled. And I am not joking. I've never been to Switzerland.
