morning's fine KC, what time were you thinking?

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 19:41

we're normally ready to go anytime from 8.45 onwards! How about 10, then we can do 90 mins and I can still get home for lunch?

pudding77 · 26/05/2007 19:56

10's great, see you then.

Anyone else want to join us?

foxcub · 26/05/2007 21:44

we'll be in church Halo

QC - I managed to leave that lovely baby toy behind!!!

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 22:14

thought it was a hint foxie! I'll drop it off on the way back from Puds tomorrow - around 12. Will you be in?

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 22:15

say a few hail marys for me - I need a bit of redemption for past sins (obviously am squeaky clean now)

foxcub · 26/05/2007 22:21

my thread

foxcub · 26/05/2007 22:22

QC we may not be back from saying all those hail mary's - you could leave it in a carrier bag in the recycling bin by the dorr if you like?

Kewcumber · 27/05/2007 08:56

might drop it off on the way instead. Don;t worry if you're in your dressing gown!

foxcub · 27/05/2007 09:53

Thanks!!!

Paddlechick666 · 27/05/2007 09:58

morning all

foxie, sorry for chair confusion on friday night. hope the boob is feeling better?

filthy day today. got a friend coming to visit thank god! might head over to CPC this arvo just to get out.

not looking good for KGF tomorrow is it

foxcub · 27/05/2007 10:01

Paddle - we've just decided to visit my Mum today, so kids are very excited about that!

KGF - the rain will reduce as the aftrenoobn goes on, so I reckon if we head there about 3.30/4pm it might have stopped. We used to turn up at 11am and leave at 6pm, but I reckon an hour wearing wellies might be more realistic - what do you think?

Paddlechick666 · 27/05/2007 10:09

i've got friends coming over from Stortford for the fair hopefully!

suspect our picnic will be had in my front room then go over if it's not too wet.

not sure what time they'll want to leave to head home - sometimes we do bath and pj's then they head off.

sorry, being a bit vague! if it's like it is now tho then i think we'll give it a miss.

ain't got no wellies in the paddle house at the mo!

foxcub · 27/05/2007 10:30

apparently there's a band of rain in the morning, which will sort of drift away as the day goes on - so am optimistic - though it may be a bit muddy if its been rainy in the morning...

guess we'll have to keep our digits crossed eh?

foxcub · 27/05/2007 10:30

ps engorgement gone now thanx to your gel pads!!

Paddlechick666 · 27/05/2007 10:36

i'm keeping my legs crossed coz i can't be bothered going upstairs to the loo - how lazy is that!

glad the gel pads are useful!

Posted this on the other thread by mistake:

Mornin all

What wonderful weather

Thanks for hosting a fab night Sue!! Felt terrible for leaving the kitchen in such a mess.

Turns out, the reason for my sniffling Friday night was not hay fever but a stinking feckin cold. Spent the night shivering and my dose is blocked and head thumping.

Lovely meeting you Steppie!

Bucket loads of sympathy Fox.

2Cute · 27/05/2007 10:38

tut tut paddle

foxcub · 27/05/2007 10:42

reckon you need the sympathy now 2cute [snotty hugs]

2Cute · 27/05/2007 10:52

Fhanks foxi

Poor DS has just been stuck indoors watching TV, I'm stuck in bed and mucho crappo DH can't ever be bothered to do anything other than strop & sleep!

This'll make ya laugh: DH made DS breakfast and come 12:30ish, after having dropped not so subtle hints that DS needs lunch now, DH replied "he's eaten already, does he really need to eat again?" Well, duh, yes he's human not a fish so he does need to be fed more than once a day! You've gotta laugh!

stepfordwife · 27/05/2007 11:49

dunno, 2 cute (hope you're feelng better and loveley to meet you, too) i'm kind of with your dh on this one...can never quite get my head around you have to feed kids 3 times a day and, this is the real bummer, EVERY DAY. such high-maintenance..

foxie..when do you get to be lapsed catholic then?

puds - have been working this morning. but cake and coffee woud have been so much nicer..

friggin, feckin rain. ds2 has got chicken pox (loads, might organise a game counting them when we get really bored) the poor lad's gutted as the only reason he wanted to get them was to have a week off school. now we're all going to have such a good half-term - confined to barracks with the spotty one. ho-hum.

pudding77 · 27/05/2007 19:43

evening all, hope you enjoyed your days in spite of the weather.

KC - hope ds is ok after his bashing today .

Dh caught an earlier train and got home just as I was running ds's bath. Ds got so excited he flung himself down in his cot & walloped his head on the end. He's going to have a lovely bruise tomorrow!

Anyway, must go, dh back with chinese - yummy!

Kewcumber · 27/05/2007 20:02

bashing all forgotten puds. He (we) had a wildly exciting lunch (at tea-time) at my mums with my Dsis and her two boys. DS adores them, they do such exciting things - like helping him up onto the kitchen table so he can reach my mums crystal chandelier.... oops.

Kewcumber · 27/05/2007 20:16

am so excited - I have started and AIBU thread! You must all go and tell me I am being very very unreasonable

Kewcumber · 28/05/2007 09:34

Is anyone really going to Kingston green fair later, in this weather? What do you do with an 18m old on a bank holiday in the rain??
