Hey pud, I have an unopened mothercare childgate that I would be happy to donate to your library if you let me know which one... was going to flog it on ebay but would rather it go to a good home like that.

fox, i lost my son at kew yesterday for 10 mins - wasn't nearly as bad as the DD freakout but he knew how much stress he'd caused me - kept kissing me afterward and apologising for scaring me. Thought he'd learnt his lesson until we went to Curry's afterwards, and he wandered off into the shop while I was getting sleeping DD into the buggy. Oblivious indeed.

pudding77 · 25/05/2007 14:42

aww thanks, I'll find out next week I think what they've decided so will let you know if that's ok.

2Cute · 25/05/2007 15:06

Welcome Caraloony! - I'm a SAHM to DS (3).

What is it with DC and running around starkers? My DS has an almost daily habit come 7pm he strips and runs around butt naked, regardless of where we are! God only knows where he's picked that up from

Mrs R - Can't belive your au pair!

quokka · 25/05/2007 15:53

Cara our condo is called "goldenhill park". I haven't actually seen the apartment as dh found it once I returned to London so I am putting alot of trust in him! I did walk around the complex though and it seemed really nice. Dh is keen to get a live in maid, but I'm not so sure? Anyway I wont talk about it too much as everyone will be posting little icons

pudding77 · 26/05/2007 09:06

KC, don't think I'm going to make it to Hounslow farm this morning. Ds was awake ridiculously early and is now v grumpy! Could maybe meet for a coffee this pm if you like, or do something tomorrow?

foxcub · 26/05/2007 10:46

MrsR - has your AP left you then - how could she not like your DDs? they're lovely!!!

ComeOVeneer · 26/05/2007 11:21

ComeOVeneer · 26/05/2007 11:23

He said that most of th eother times the client picked up the tab so no idea how expensive the other restaurants were. Sorry I cant be more help, but he did say the conceirges at the hotels tend to be very good at recommending local restaurants.

stepfordwife · 26/05/2007 12:11

hey caraloony, welcome
i've got ds1, 7, ds2, nearly 6, and dd 2 (going on 25). work from home. (me , that is, not the kids. some sort of silly law against child labour, i think..)
my dh's family are in perth and we have got friends in sydney - fab city.
how long are you over here for?

pudding77 · 26/05/2007 12:24

thanks Cov

ComeOVeneer · 26/05/2007 13:06

Ele and MrsR Shrek3 isn't out until June 29th. Are there any other child friendly movies out atm?

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 13:32

Foxie - would be up for somehting but it looks like rain already. How about I bring your chairs back about 3pm and we can discuss, will text you.

Any suggestions for rainy Sunday and Monday?

pudding77 · 26/05/2007 13:52

I'm going to risk the garden centre this afternoon, if it stays dry then ds can have a run around in the park.

If its raining tomorrow am happy if people want to pop in for tea/coffee/cake!

foxcub · 26/05/2007 14:13

KewC - I need to go to retail park in a mo', between feeds actually - have just seen your proposed drop off at 3pm.

If you're heading out anyway by car, you could drop them off and leave them by door. Otherwise if you fancy a cuppa I could maybe swing by on way back from retail park.

I feel a bit ill actually, have one sore engorged boob so have been tending to it all morning

sympathy please ladies

foxcub · 26/05/2007 14:17

OMG might go back to bed actually...

Paddlechick666 · 26/05/2007 14:39

oooh no, poor foxie. much sympathy coming your way.

hope you feel better soon.

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 15:48

DS is still asleep (went to sleep at 1.30!) am going to wake him up at 4 if he's not up. Don't worry Foxie - I'll drop the chairs off tomorrow if you don;t want visitors today

Puds, I'd be up for tea and cake if the weather is rough tomorrow.

Kewcumber · 26/05/2007 15:50

my ma is cooking roast for late lunch - is morning OK?

foxcub · 26/05/2007 16:22

DS1 just woke me up!

mellow2 · 26/05/2007 16:53
