...pants on fire..
welcome sushimummy
i work from home part-time (in theory)
i have ds1, 7, ds2, nearly 6, and dd, 2.
i'm nearly as young as KewC...
cultural exchange and girlie gossip sounds good - that can be combined in one hit, right?

hello everyone else
working like a workhorse thing at the mo (well, in between staring out of the window/scrubbing doorsteps/going on MN/boredom-distraction-eating-where-calories-don't-count). obviously...

mrsR...very intrigued by your au pair tale..sure you would have livened it up. thought it was bit boring. i fell asleep (that could have been the large glass of vino, though)

Nanou1 · 22/05/2007 14:36

who is QC?

ComeOVeneer · 22/05/2007 14:36

Ele can do June 9th, 10th,16th, 24th, 30th.

Nanou1 · 22/05/2007 14:37

ignore me.... gosh aren't i slow today

stepfordwife · 22/05/2007 14:37

god, ele, KewC still isn't trying to pull off that 'I'm 49' line, is she? i have it on good authority she's 51..loooking good on it, though.

MrsBigD · 22/05/2007 14:37

at least somebody misses me ;) Thanks Eleusis . What happened to me? well being a sahm seems to be much more taxing and keeping me away from internet than I had anticipated. Still looking for work so I can rest and mn but no luck so far

1/2 term coming up next week and planning various outings to keep dd and ds busy. Anybody want to join me at Cliveden House? Cliveden House

Nanou1 · 22/05/2007 14:38

hello mrsbigd

Eleusis · 22/05/2007 14:44

Oh right 51. Well, she must have lied to me then. Figures. You'd think a high flying accountant wh ois needed in the board meeting could count.

stepfordwife · 22/05/2007 14:48

tsk..you'd think so, wouldn't you? standards are falling.

stepfordwife · 22/05/2007 14:51

let's be kind, though, don't think KewC meant to lie, more in denial...

reckon KewC's (wrinkly) ears are burning in the boardroom?

Nanou1 · 22/05/2007 14:58

just a nice reminder that Kewcumber is hosting Friday night

Eleusis · 22/05/2007 15:01

ALzheimers probably

stepfordwife · 22/05/2007 15:03

good point, nanou
as i was saying, i have it on good authority KewC is 31...
(lol ele, though..)

stepfordwife · 22/05/2007 15:05

..and if she slips some rat poison in mine and ele's chilli beans...you're all witnesses..

foxcub · 22/05/2007 15:09

You mean lot, pocking fun at QC just 'cos she's old

Hi sushimummy, I'm old and live in Kew too, so join the "mature Kew Mums" gang

I have DS 6 DD 3 and Ds 2 months, and am on mat leave

I'm around generally , eeerrr that is between feeding and nappy changes and school runs......

Eleusis · 22/05/2007 15:20

You are such a brown nose.

Nanou1 · 22/05/2007 15:20

we could play murder mystery !
hi foxie

Eleusis · 22/05/2007 15:27

I don't know if I'm still coming. Might not be safe without Hercule Poirot.

pudding77 · 22/05/2007 16:10

You'll be ok Ele, there'll be a couple of Miss Marples there! probably shouldn't have said that!

Hi sushimummy, I'm in Brentford and have ds 16 months. Btw, I'm northern also, whereabouts is your dh from?)

SushiMummy · 22/05/2007 17:07

Hi foxcub! 'mature Kew mums gang' sounds great!

Hi pudding77!

DH was born in Liverpool (Birkenhead) but brought up in Manchester (Bury). We met at Uni (Leeds) 20 odd years ago. I used to have northern accent but sadly I've lost it (well almost) thanks to all these working years in City.

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2007 17:10

i was born in birkenhead..........

Eleusis · 22/05/2007 17:12

Maybe you guys are related.

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2007 17:30

nah doubt it, only got step-family up there now.....

pudding77 · 22/05/2007 17:33

My mum's side of the family's from Birkenhead & I'm about 10 miles from Leeds, so used to have a lot of nights out there. Particularly remember Stomp at Leeds Met!

sfxmum · 22/05/2007 17:54
