I've been lurking this thread the last few weeks but had no courage to post by now.

You all seem very nice and I would love to meet you sometime soon. I work full time so a bit difficult to meet-up weekdays but deffo any weekends!

I am Japanese with English (northern, may I add) DH and have 19m DS. Been living in Kew since 92.

Would anyone fancy some cultural exchange or just a nice girlie chat with me?

yeah ele i tried that! ended up buying size 6 chipmunks having been told they are a good wide fitting and they're way too narrow for dd. so i spent £8.70 and now have a lovely pair of totally unworn chipmunks!

should've just gone to hounslow straight off eh.

my mate's 3.5yr old is in crocs from NZ and she is very comfy in them. actually i think dd at 19m is still a little young for them.....

i work 4 days and pretty much single to all intents and purposes so weekends are great for me!

my dd is 19m and i am about to become 41 so we're pretty similar.

paddle - i think you are right re your dd may be too young. even for my dd i was wondering if she was not too young. did you go and read ele's thread on the crocs? hilarious

sushi - i work full time and my dd was 3 in march

Oh, welcome sushimummy!! I also work full time. I'm around for grown up nights out and weekend meets with kids -- but not too often of DH moans about my absense.

What do you do for work?

I have a 4 year old DD and barely 2 year old DS.

PS Think we should arrange a sushi meet up in honour of our newest member.

Oh, I hear yaon house prices! I work in Brentford (Oil and Gas industry) and live in Sunbury. One day probably when I can get rid of the nanny bill I want to live in Twickernham.

I work in City too (near Liverpool st station) but fly very very high and you all have to call me ma'am.

And don't get freightened, but I think I saw you and your DS a few weeks ago in Kew! No. I'm not a stalker! Looking at the pictures of your DS, I deffo remember you and DS. Do you remember a rude oriental woman staring at you in front of Tesco? Sorry it was me. I just thought your DS is sooo gorgeous and looks bit like mine.
