grovel grovel grovel Kewie

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:32

how are you Oxo me old gel?

MrsRecycle · 21/05/2007 19:34

Oh meant to say I'm recording the Au pair programme tonight on my new DVD recorder and watching it on my new 37" flat screen tomorrow (god I sound like a man!).

I was asked to feature in this programme (see Kewie its not only you the press are after!!) and they were going to pick 3 Au Pairs for me to choose from and they would follow us and see how we got on. It was whilst the Shilpa problems with Big Brother and my choice would have been so un-pc correct that C4 would have been removed from broadcast. I'll tell you more on Friday (if Kewie will let me through her front door).

Also I have a bottle of Tequila - am I forgiven yet???

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:35

you and your tequila are welcome (but more to the point - your chairs are welcome)

Paddlechick666 · 21/05/2007 19:37

okay anyone know what shoe shops around here stock chipmunks? or any other half decent brand that isn't in excess of £25?

i cleverly bought some off ebay BNWT and they're too small for dd. by this time i'd cut the tags off!

anyone want a pair of size 6 unworn chipmunk shoes for a girl?

am sneezing like mental here.

must go and buy dd shoes from somewhere tomorrow - t'is getting desperate!

Paddlechick666 · 21/05/2007 19:42

oh and planning to do the fair foxie, hoping friends are coming too

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:43

xoxo · 21/05/2007 19:47

ComeOVeneer · 21/05/2007 20:08

Paddle, no promises, but I will check dd's old shoes (all clarks) and if I have any 6's would you be interested? I think I have all her old shoes but can't remember what siaes she has had. Actually if you want them all you are welcome, some a a bit scuffed but wearable, but I now some people are funny about 2nd hand shoes.

Paddlechick666 · 21/05/2007 20:11

CoV i am definately not funny about 2nd hand stuff! apart from the economic benefit it appeals to my eco sensibilities.

only trouble with dd is that she's got a wide foot and a high arch. she's actually a 6h but if you have anything that would be marvelous. happy to buy from you.

oxo, hold that chinese, i'm on my way! i wish lol!

going for a bath, feelin pretty crappy at the mo

ComeOVeneer · 21/05/2007 20:23

Paddle no need to buy you can have them. I think they are all F and G from what I can remember, I will have a dig around tomorrow.

MrsBigD · 21/05/2007 20:43

Hmmm not even my little foot stomping got a response. A well I shall now flunk from this group and found a new one closer to new home

foxcub · 21/05/2007 20:54

Paddle - I have some lavender Mini Boden boots if you are interested actually. haven't a clue what size but prob about 6 - DD hardly wore them before her feet suddenly grew.

PC/Sue - fab - C U at Kingston and bring a spliff

ooops gotta go - DS2 calling...

foxcub · 21/05/2007 21:31

MrsD - How very dare you leave us to start another group?

MrsBigD · 22/05/2007 08:07

foxie I dare because everybody on here seems to be ignoring me

xoxo · 22/05/2007 08:36

who said that?

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2007 08:59

echooooo echooo echooooo echooooo

tumbleweed drifts past and a lonely wind howls thru the desert..........

CoV, thanks so much for the offer of shoes. very kind. you too foxie. have decided to go to hounslow this morning and see if i can hunt something down tho.

dd's feet need to be fitted properly, if i can find a shop selling chipmunks and get her measured that would be great. i understand they're good shoes but about a third of the cost of clarks etc.

the ones i bought on ebay are a 6 and lovely but dd only wore them in the house for 45 mins and her feet had big marks around the base of the toes so will put 'em back on ebay i guess!

nice to finally see some sun eh!

quokka · 22/05/2007 09:09

anyone around to day? Was going to head to Kew later

MrsBigD · 22/05/2007 09:10

{scuffles off in a huff}

MrsRecycle · 22/05/2007 09:13

Quokka would have loved to come to Kew (and see you!) but I have to go to school at lunchtime so need to be close to home. I'm free tomorrow though - are you busy?

Paddlechick666 · 22/05/2007 09:20

quokka, drop me a text later and see where we're at.

kew today would be lovely but have to go to hounslow shortly and both dd and i have stinking colds.

would be lovely to see you tho.

hope all's well.

quokka · 22/05/2007 09:50

MrsRecycle · 22/05/2007 10:06

Might be able to do Thursday afternoon after 2 Quokka.

2Cute · 22/05/2007 10:42

Mornin gals!!

Quokka - Would've loved to meet up today but have too many bits and pieces to do. Let me know what you plan to do on Thursday and I'll try to pop along.

I had a weird dream that all of our west london gang were round my house for a garden get together (been thinking about doing that while DH is on hols end of June) and Sue, your DS got stuck in the cat flap! I guess it must've stuck in my mind!

Mrs B - How very dare you be ignored on this thread. How are you? What have you been doing with yourself lately besides missing us ofcourse!

Welcome Amandella - I'm in Whitton (also between Twickers and Teddington). DS is 3 years old and we are regular visitors of Bushy Park.

Paddle - How are things your end with Dhh and house stuff?

Yep sfx I also hit 30 in July. I'm such a plum, someone sent me an email on DH's account and when I checked it I also saw an email from a travel agent so being the nosey cow that I am I read it and saw that DH has planned a "surprise" trip for my 30th to Hawaii and the Florida. I told him what I had done and thank God he wasn't p*ssed that I ruined the surprise!
