I stopped counting at 37 because prime numbers offend me.

Whoops, not that great a comment that it needed posting twice

ComeOVeneer · 21/05/2007 12:36

Hi all. Had a lovely weekend at my sisters with the kids for my nephews 1st b'day, but without dh it was a tiring time plus the driving, so we are all exhausted today. I left the house in perfect working order and got home yesterday evening to find the fridge is leaking, the oven is bust and the top drawer of the dishwasher has snapped. DH claims he didn't do anything to them. As such we are now looking at just replacing the whole kitchen as we also have to replace the cracked sink and tap.

The bad news is I may not be able to make the devil's food cake for friday (if not I will buy desert).

Hope everyone is well, and welcome Amandella.

stepfordwife · 21/05/2007 12:36

hi all, we are back from sunny climes and looking forward to 'normality' - do any of you know where I can find some??

Fed up with kids as they've had teh dreaded pox.

Hello to Newbies.

So - When's the next night out? Am in desperate need of alcohol, and bitching....

Whilst on hols I read that she who must not be named has settled with MN! Funnily, I joined MN to see what that was all about. seems long ago now.

ComeOVeneer · 21/05/2007 18:27

Is no-one bothered by the potential lack of cake? I have spent ages browsing Magnets web site looking and planning my new kitchen. Am quite excited no (how sad is that?)

foxcub · 21/05/2007 18:43

CoV - I'm on a diet so I don't care about cake (she lies...)

Oxo - fab to see you - actually haven't bloody seen you in ages. R U down for Quokka's leaving do on Friday?

If you can't make it, make sure you come round for a cuppa very soon (and you SFX...)

MrsRecycle · 21/05/2007 18:58

Thanks foxie - 36? I like you!!

COV - we're just interested in the alcohol

xoxo · 21/05/2007 19:07

Hi Foxy
will see if I can get a pass for Friday! What's the arrangements?
I still have not seen foxcub!!

xoxo · 21/05/2007 19:10

oh, and I'm fast approaching the big 40.

May change that to 21(s) like a friend of mine does, but am saddened to see that I'm in the latter part of the alphabet these days. It was slightly more acceptable when I was 21(h)!

poo

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:26

hello Oxo - I'm a newbie you have to be nice to me in case I run away.

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:28

And this evening (after a suspiciously quiet 10 mins) I have outside on the patio - 3 big (expensive) bars of soap (unwrapped), the box they came in, 5 brillo pads, 3 spoons.

DS has discovered the joys of the catflap. How long before he gets stuck in it trying to get through?

MrsRecycle · 21/05/2007 19:29

run away? we should be so lucky

Kewcumber · 21/05/2007 19:30

and then you will have to eat in my front graden on Friday cos I won;t elt you in.

PS COV have just focussed on the no choclate cake bit

MrsRecycle · 21/05/2007 19:30

pmsl with ds and the catflap!! He's definitely going to be a soldier when he grows up all that commando crawling and escaping through hatches!

xoxo · 21/05/2007 19:30
