Paddlechick666 · 17/05/2007 19:33

i've had an email asking to view my flat!! it only went on the housing options website today i think!

now i have the headache of informing the tenents and also co-ordinating viewings. need to confirm the person is eligible tho - ain't traipsin over there to do viewings if they're not.

gulp! things are happening!

cue more stress..........

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 17/05/2007 19:34

Foxie you don't look pathetic enough obbviously when explaining why your childs coat is filthy. And how deos DH feel about working indefintiely ?

ComeOVeneer · 17/05/2007 19:43

Well I am not a happy bunny. Feeling much better on the cold side, however as I was feeling better I decided to do a bit os housework after picking dd up from school. So there I was upstairs putting the laundry away. I come down to find dd in the playroom and ds in the living room, black marker in hand colouring in the walls the furniture, the tv screen, dvd player and the carpet. I came soo close to smacking him I had to leave the room . He was absolutely covered too so I scrubbed the house (think it has come of the carpet but need to wait until it is dry). I then bathed both the children, took ds out first, dressed him then as I was putting his clothes away and closing his curtains he ran back into the bathroom and got into the bath (dd wasstill in there) and got into the bath fully clothed and nappied.

Suffice to say I have a large glass of red in my hand as I type one handedly. Kids, who'd have 'em?

stepfordwife · 17/05/2007 23:09

foxie..did you enjoy the programme about the very young elders? shame nothing else interesting on?

Nanou1 · 18/05/2007 09:32

HI all. oh COV . dd did that on our leather sofa once (just once) with other kids that i won't name!!!! was not impressed to say the least.... Foxie ; good news about dh then isn't ? you pleased? did you watch catherine tate last night? no? how very DARE you??!!
stepfie - you are so right about the immune system!
paddle - you will be fine and will cope. you always do well done.

stepfordwife · 18/05/2007 10:54

sue - if you're not already out enjoying the rays - (nice blokes, rays) have sent you an email

quokka · 18/05/2007 13:24

cooooooeeeee! Still here and very stressed! Can't keep up with this thread but you all sound well if not a bit dirty (or is that the kids).

Anyway have to go and make a fireman sam fire truck cake. Ds1 is having a b'day/leaving party tomorrow with his mates from nursery - I'm a sucker for punishment. Hopefully mindee's temp will stay down so I can it finished.

Nanou1 · 18/05/2007 13:45

hi quokka!!!! nice to see you sorry to hear you are so stressed you feeeling better about leaving now... silly question probably so you might be so busy to have time to think!!

quokka · 18/05/2007 14:04

Nanou I have my ups and downs to be honest, but I know it will be great once we get out there. Has your dh gone yet?

Nanou1 · 18/05/2007 14:24

nop. he starts on 18th June. will be able to watch all the tv i want in the evening. mrsR was right!!!!

MrsRecycle · 18/05/2007 15:10

Told you Nannou!! And your kitchen won't get messed up! I'm having a weekend away without dh and dc (going away with my db and ds) and I'm dreading coming back to a bomb site.

Quokka - you up to a visit next week? I can give you a hand if you want. I'll bring my camera and take a picture of Stitch for my dds.

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 18/05/2007 18:44

Paddle sleepsuit has arrived - d'you want to do a handover (with the £10 I still owe you) in Tesco car park tomorrow?

foxcub · 18/05/2007 18:52

Sue - dodgy transactions in carparks eh?

nanou - yes I did watch C Tate

Nothing else on Tv that time, eh Dtepford? Whoops, Stepford...not Depford LOL!!

Well I took DS2 into work today to meet everyone (and of course proove that I actulayy gave birth!). Was so nervous for some reason I couldn't sleep last night - which was pretty annoying as DS2 slept like a log

Anyway apart from me looking about 200, it all went very well. Ds2 didn't demand my breasts in front of everyone, nor did he fart loudly and offensively, It was brill to see everyone, and be the centre of attention - a crowd gathered around my beautiful child when we entered

DH's indefinate contract means at least we have some options now - one of which is that we could both do 2.5 days a week perhaps? Anyway, plenty of time to think about that but I remembered today how much I love my job, my team, my work life etc and how tidy the office looked compared to my home . Even got a cup of tea made for me

Looks like fine weather for the weekend

Paddlechick666 · 18/05/2007 19:47

sue, quite possibly could do.

am off for a sleepover at best freinds leaving around 12:30 after dd has an early lunch so might be a bit manic in the morning getting all the paraphanalia together that she needs for an overnight!

gimme a buzz in the morning and will see hwere i'm at.

have had my head down hard at work this week so sorry not to have been on much.

dd did a poo on the carpet this evening which was lovely! luckily perfectly formed and very easy to scoop up and flush.

have now had 4 enquiries on my flat and written to tenents advising them of the situaiton.

let's just hope they don't up sticks and move out now coz this sale will take at least 12 weeks i think.

Paddlechick666 · 18/05/2007 19:48

ps: quokka, the jeans are too big for me already! eek! but i still love them and i have a belt so still lookin good!

foxcub · 18/05/2007 20:07

PC have a nice time tonight

I packed a changing bag for DS2 earlier. DD has unpacked it, and changed her bnaby annabel doll on the floor - using wipes, nappy, nappy bag and DS2's clean clothes! Baby annabel is now clean, changed and settled

Paddlechick666 · 18/05/2007 20:22

thanks foxie, it's tomorrow! just hope dd is okay, she's suffering with a sore throat and cough so not sleeping great. don't really feel i can take her if she'll keep everyone awake all night. friends have 2 LOs as well.

congrats to dh as well, that must be a big relief.

dd happily wipes bebbi's bottom whilst i shower - so cute!

this week's new phrase is "oh no" and new favourite word is "more"!

foxcub · 18/05/2007 20:28

note to self: "oh no" must read people's posts properley!

foxcub · 19/05/2007 16:43

WTF is everone???

foxcub · 19/05/2007 16:43

"everyone"?

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 19/05/2007 19:26

well I was at Tesco (met paddle and did the "handover" of stash), then home then motehrcare cafe and boots, then my mums now home. what a wild life I lead.

Have done my back in and is getting worse because I can't NOT pick DS up. Only time I really wish I had a DH...

foxcub · 19/05/2007 20:02

Its my dad's birthday today so went to take a pressie round later (box of wine) - haven't spoken to him since he blew me out on the birth childcare just before Monti was born, but I can't not get him a pressie.

Today we've been shopping, been to hairdresser (DS1, for a surfy doody haircut), been to bookshop to buy books for next bookclub (picture tiny bookshop, huge buggy, crying baby and two fighting children, plus one exhausted Mum of three), rushing home for breastfeeds between each

Loads of power walking - two DCs in buggy and one very sweaty tired DS1

foxcub · 19/05/2007 23:15

lookyhere

suejonezwillsoonbeKewcumber · 20/05/2007 13:05
