what is devil's food cake btw?

i know! apparently i would've missed a 5th of the course if i'd had tuesday off as normal.

and they say i'm crap at maths!

Devil's food cake is a seriously chocolate cake with 3 layers of chocolate fudge icing smothered in fudge frosting best served with a big dollop of whipped cream.

Exactly Nanou. I have made the biscuits basically so the kids could ice them, although I think ds ate more of the icing that used it on the biscuits, the banana loaf is ds's favourite, and the devil's food cake was my reward for doing all of this.

this is NOT fair is it??!!

that kind of thing happening to me really puts me in a bad mood

but... do you have any bananas left? how about cut bananas (with skin on) length way; insert dark chocolate - as much as you want; cover with foil and bake in a pre-heated oven. "yum in the tum" as we say at home

well, she's deffo on the mend.

but rather attached to me, as soon as she sees me she flings herself at me and squeals no no no like a stuck pig if anyone comes near.

i wouldn't mind but it's not like i haven't been with her 24 x 7 since saturday!

she's eating again and also screams the house down if i don't give her as much as she wants! now I know she hasn't eaten since saturday evening but i'm hardly going to let her gorge herself now am i!

anyways, welcome back my friend! it's very good to see you. my dd looks particularly gorgeous in your gorgeous dd's clothes you know!

Ok so who is in for Kew tomorrow, what time are we meeting and where?

CoV, I'm possibly in for tomorrow, depends on how ds is as he's had a jab today plus we've been there loads lately so think he may be getting a little bored of it! Make the plans and I'll come along if I can!

Puds - ds will be fine! My ds had his bcg on Monday and he is still smiling.

Quokka/COV - I'm on for tomorrow - gran's bf is still not well. How is 10am (ish if you know me) outside Kew Green entrance for a meetup.

Sounds good MrsR. Are we planning on having lunch there? Think I will bring a picnic, the cafe was a tad pricey last time.

Can we make it 10.30 please?

Oh I'd love to join you tomorrow but have three school runs between 9am-2pm!!! Also, haven't quite got to grips again with juggling boobs, bra and baby in public yet!!

dd is much better and has been demanding food all day altho still whingey.

took an hour to get her to bed tho - need blackout blinds!

funny the lgihter evenings don;t seem to bother DS - mind you he is generally shattered as I don't put him to bed until 7.30 now.
