Paddlechick666 · 21/04/2007 20:02

i never said i ate all of it! i just said that's what I'd order!

i've got a load of fresh pasta in the frigo too.

shite telly tonight. may have to order a movie........

Quokka, yes please!

ps: sorry 'bout the ice-cream Sue, promise there'll be a little bit left

Paddlechick666 · 21/04/2007 20:07

so what did you order then?

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 20:09

paddle did you forgert drWho again?

dh cooked chilli and i drunk far too much wine

good on the chinese sounds yummy

Paddlechick666 · 21/04/2007 20:12

i've lost it with Dr Who - can't even remember to record it! feel i'm very behind the times with it now - will have to wait for repeats.

thinking of ordering The Devil Wears Prada

first time in ages I am enjoying a glass of wine and looking forward to another one!

your dh sounds great SFX!

ps: dd is finally starting to make a little sense with her random gobbledygook and chat. I definatley got a "it's gone mummy" from her tonight!

foxcub · 21/04/2007 20:15

Just watched Dr Who "oink, oink"

had fab day and bought DS1 an inflatable football goal and footballs - I'm so crap it makes the kids look good

Montipine has been an angel as usual - smiling at me all day and making baby noises in response to my gabbling nonsense at him

DH considering a BBQ tomorrow (he doesn't know yet _ i haven't told him he's considering one)

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 20:24

LOL foxie bbq it is then i guess

the bluebrlls were gorgeous as usual but the screaming kids around the badger set were off putting for dd.

pc - dh is quite lovely and it is all quite sick inducing at the moment but hey just don't tell him i praise him much when you meet.
must get dd to bed soon she has been doing s card for grampa with lots of messy finger painting.

bunyanvillas · 21/04/2007 20:34

I have just ordered a mega curry takeaway from a fab place in Twickers

foxcub · 21/04/2007 20:44

Well I just had a lump of cheese and four oatcakes so beat that for a delicious dinner!! (pokes tongue out)

Paddlechick666 · 21/04/2007 20:46

wot? no chocolate Foxie? or is that just a breakfast food?

i object to the "oink oinking goin on 'ere!"

bunyan, i had a fake tesco chilled meal curry.

would love a proper curry with popadoms and mango and raitha and bajis and everything!

foxcub · 21/04/2007 20:48

bin scoffing chocolate all day but dark choc so good for me

bunyanvillas · 21/04/2007 21:34

Has anyone ever stooped so low that they ate some of their dc's easter egg? Given that the dcs are given so much chocolate and will they ever even know etc etc (not that I am saying I would ever do such a thing)

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 21:39

is that what you call stooping low? i thought it was acting in the best (dental) interest of the child

pudding77 · 21/04/2007 21:40

am pogged now, had sweet & sour chicken, egg fried rice & prawn crackers, yummy!

Paddle, I've been taping Dr who but haven't got round to watching it yet so if you want to come over sometime then you're more than welcome!

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 21:42

i need all of Life on mars series two if anyone has it
must go read paper now, enough low brow activities for one day

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 21:49

oh that thread on the falling trousers is quite funny i am clearly quite middle age

pudding77 · 21/04/2007 21:57

I saw that one as well v funny! There are a couple of others where things with cod are kicking off, again!

trying2bgood · 21/04/2007 22:22

Love Dr who, its so funny and he is so cute!

SFX - I think I have the last episode of life of mars but it is on our dvd recorder so you would have to come over! Great show, will miss it! I watch way too much cult tv for my own good! Hence no time to keep up with mumsnet! Do you watch heroes by any chance?

sfxmum · 21/04/2007 22:32

of course i do am now catchng up with BSG because dd has not been asleep before 9.30 lately. i have not watched S2 of mars at all so will probabbly get the dvd when out thanks - avoiding all spoilers.

i watch too much telly really and should get a recorder

pudding77 · 22/04/2007 09:23

Sfx/trying - do either of you have heroes taped? We started watching it but missed about 2 or 3 episodes so have no idea what's going on now .

sfxmum · 22/04/2007 09:31

hi puds i never tape anything but they repeat a lot, there are recaps on the site with clips for every ep. mainly because it was on hiatus in US. i think the sci fi channel will do a big catch up weekend soon too. it is really good not BSG good but really well done and i love Hito

i am now regreting promising C&C to dd today, will pop out for jog then maybe get the energy to convince dh to go

foxcub · 22/04/2007 10:18

Morning all

just had my usual brekkie - porridge and dark chocolate

actually had a glass of wine last night

whahaaay!!!

mellow2 · 22/04/2007 11:42

Morning all,
It was dd's birthday yesterday and we had a lovely day.

We had yummy Chinese too. We went to Four Seasons in Bayswater for roast duck. Slurp!

Quokka,
Damian from Mackens recommended Four Seasons of all things.

But PC's suggestions is making me hungry for Chinese takeaway.

Foxie,
Dare I ask if choc on the menu 'cos you have a craving? Your body might be needing special foods for bf. I ate loads of things I normally wouldn't have when I started bf dd.

OP posts:
Paddlechick666 · 22/04/2007 11:57

lol mellow, i think you'll find that dark chocolate is an addiction with Foxie, not a craving!

i'm making bbq chicken for dinner and i've done 2 loads of washing.

[smug] [smug]

going to meet my hippy babywearing mates this arvo to get a few more tips.

quokka · 22/04/2007 12:05

Paddlechick666 · 22/04/2007 12:08

Quokka, that's great news. It'll be so nice to be close to your family I expect.
