MrsBigD - 5th was mooted BEFORE your housewarming so technically you stole meet up date not other way around! I assume a few people will prefer not to do 5th if we are coming to you (like me)

Paddle - why did yo ubook a hotel?! You could have stayed with me - DS doesn;t generally wake and we would have been out of the house by 7.40 so you could have had the place to yourself! Daft old bag. Anyway - bet you didn't lie in until 10.55, you are too used to getting up and will fret about DD.

I am planning my first EVER babysit where my mum will put DS to bed so I can stay I work for a big meeting followed by drinks. Haven't actually asked her yet as I haven't persuaded myself that it is such a good idea. What a wuss.

I don't think I can the 4th now, as I fly in from s'pore the day before and after a 4 day house hunting trip and long flight I'll be knackered!

I had forgotted about the $th, thanks for reminding me ELe. I can now probably make the 25th as MIL is no longer having the children for the weekend as SIL wants to have a friend to stay for the weekend so no bedroom for kids (despite we booked first). So precious is her DD that she gets put infront not only of her own DS and his wife for their weeding anniversary (no particular reasn for sil friend to stay that weekend), but also the chance to have the grandkids to herself for the weekend . We will get a baby sitter and go out on the Saturday or Sunday and my mum has offered to come up on the following Thursday(1/2 term week)to pick the LO's up and stay at her until Sunday when we will join them for lunch at then come home.

Bit of a rant there. Right I am of to Kingston for retail therapy.

I would say take the 5th off as well as it seems quite a few people were planning on going to MrsB's party - I can't imagine trying to fit both in!

Are people still doing the Mile for Maude on 12 May. I think the West London one is lacking an organiser (because Countess Draculas has had to pull out). I don't really know why but I do know she has a new job so I assume she does not have time for organising this anymore.

Anyway, I'm begining to wonder if there still is a Mile for Maude in Richmond Park.

And if there is still one, how many of us are going?

Quokka - have just bathed DS2 in his new bath seat - he absolutely loved it and looked every inch a King on a throne as DS1 and DD fussed over him

I am planning on Mile for Mauding in Richmond Park 12th May. Think we had already agreed 11am hadn't we? SO not much ot organise - just a start place and finish place amile later followed in my case by picnic lunch (if warm), Pembroke lodge lunch if not.

I think there was some talk about whether we needed park permission. And probably more issues I don't remember. If anyone can help they should probably CAT CountessDracula.

afternoon all! i am such a sad addicted git that i brought my laptop with me!

i've had a perfectly pleasant morning in Kingston getting a few bits n bobs for me and dd.

CoV, I swear I saw your ds in Clarke's but his mummy wasn't you - at least I don't think she was LOL!

now i am booked into my hotel with a screw top bottle in the sinkful of water chillin.

sue, thanks for the offer but i took the hotel option as i really think i need a bit of space and chill time.

so i'm going to have a bath, do a face pack and paint my nails.

and i will not get out of bed till 10:55 tomorrow - even if i wake up at 5am!!!
