but its true quokka not funny , harlot implies a degree of seriousness to the task and glamour that I sadly don't have.

Perhaps I could write a pamphlet rather than a fully fledged book, "Pithy Sayings and Observations of Suejonez"

i've got a babysense angel alarm MrsR which does breathing and movement.

hi foxie, i don't think it's bad motherish at all - think it shows a great approach. but these things can provide peace of mind when something's already gone and scared the bejayzuz out of you!

am feeling a fair bit better thanks. think the ABs are giving my tum a bit of gyp tho.

am running away for the night tomorrow night and leaving grandma to look after dd overnight! actually feel a bit guilty as niece is also coming for the night which i'd forgotten about! at least grandma will have some help from the teens!

Can't do the second bank holiday either as it is my wedding anniversary and we are child free all weekend .

being that i am signed off thus no need to trek to office i have booked a hotel in chiswick and am taking myself off for the day/night.

plan to go shopping and mooching in kingston during the day.

this venture is threefold:

a) first step to dd being able to go to Grandma's for weekend
b) dd and me need new clothes but shopping with dd is impossible as evidenced at Kew RP yesterday!
c) my mental health!

checkout time is 11am and i intend to get out of bed at 10:55!

actually am desperately trying not to get over emotional about not seeing dd for 24 hours.............

How did your trip to the doctor's go Sue ?

COV, you can't do the 4th because you are going to a noodle bar in Wimbledon with me (for Carmenere).

I can still do 25th and 26th, but not 4th or 5th.

The Kazaks at my work are generally 20 something skinny girls who wear their clothes a size too small. So, not exactly partner prospects.

I'm intrigued. Do your Kazak colleagues do a specialist job? I'm sure I haven't worked anywhere where there were Kazak employees.

We are building islands and facilities to produce and export the oil and gas from the Kashagan field in the Caspian Sea (in Kazakhstan). So the Kazaks are locals to the job site who have come to London for the first phase of the project. There aren't a lot of jobs in Kazakhstan, and so the oil industry presents an oppotunity of a lifetime for these people.

well, i've packed a bag and i';m heading off soon for a day out!

erm, feeling quite to be leaving dd. won't know what to do with myself!
