Paddlechick666 · 10/04/2007 20:15

then all we've gotta do is get dh over and single white femail will be complete!

xoxo · 10/04/2007 20:20

boingggg, boingggg, boingggg, whoops
(oh dear, Tigger has had a celebration glass of wine )

xoxo · 10/04/2007 20:21

how does one get rid of a tattoo?

quokka · 10/04/2007 20:40

Tattoo - have I missed something???? Well done and congrats on getting the school you wanted!

Foxy, I have to meet the foxcub soon! Let us know if your around, or going to Kew.

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 21:22

fox, ta muchly for this arvo. grand to see you (and your legs)
paddle, fab to see you and dd again (looking at her is a bit of a template of what my dd will look like once she's got more hair! Answer: very cute)
sue and puds, lovely to meet you and your gorgeous respective ds.

now i've met some peeps, i may even start posting again without feeling like a voyeur!maybe i can start posting again now i've met some peeps and won't feel like a voyeur...
sue - reckon your mum lives almost directly opposite me. small world, eh?
at dinner this evening, ds2 inquired, a propos nothing:"Mummy, were you born like this..or did you go to crazy school?"
wouldn't mind but earlier today, ds1 told me:"You only look like a man a bit, mum." It was the A BIT that cracked me up. which bit???!
so in one day my sanity and gender have been questioned by my ds x 2. nice..
just thought i'd share with the class. (er, don't look like a man, do i...DO I???) toddlepip

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 21:30

er, didn't mean to put the voyeur bit twice!

quokka · 10/04/2007 21:35

hi stepford, don't they say the funniest things. Ds1 is constantly saying "its not blood its tomato sauce!"

Its from an episode of fireman sam (if you wondering)

Paddlechick666 · 10/04/2007 21:44

oooh I've just realised who you are stepfordwife!

stone me for being a bit dim!!!!

your ds x 2 are hilarious, lovely boys altho they didn't pay me a fiver for their popcorn!

your dd and mine were really quite sweet together weren't they? i wonder if they freak each other out thinking they're looking in a mirror?

and no, you don't look like a man at all! and i think it's fair to day school has made us all a bit crazy - but don't tell the kids that otherwise they'll never go and we'll never get a break!

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 21:45

hi quokka
can't beat fireman sam for a cracking one-liner, eh?
my boys are also constantly asking things like:"Did they have cars/TV/electricity/hospitals when you were a little girl, mummy?"
they think i was born in the stone age obviously

Paddlechick666 · 10/04/2007 21:46

ps: chocolate is bad..... very very bad

quokka · 10/04/2007 21:48

yep the other one is "great fires of london, I'm stuck in a thunderstorm!"

PC you, dim never . I loved those photos of dd by the way!

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 22:11

hi paddle..my cover is blown! wondered if you realised who i was. (not in a DO YOU KNOW WHO I AM? vein i hasten to add)

aw thanks..they're not bad little fellas even if they don't pay for their popcorn and are running verbal circles around me already..

i know! perhaps we can get them signed up to play sisters in a "Made For Tv" film...

quokka...liking your appreciation of fireman sam's wit...

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 22:14

no..paddle.. just "a bit" of me looks like a man.
actually

stepfordwife · 10/04/2007 22:15

hmmmm
not hinting i'm a transexual by the way...
not that there's anything wrong with transexuals..
oh dear, let's get back to fireman sam one-liners...

quokka · 10/04/2007 22:23

lol stepford! Sorry I'm all out of one liners . sounds like I missed a lovely day

mellow2 · 11/04/2007 09:14

Sorry I missed everyone yesterday. I'm not really well atm plus I'm really knackered as dd is being really demanding so I wouldn't have been much company.

I was at Kew Mothercare yesterday buying a stroller for dd. I actually bumped into oxo (congrats on getting the school you want).

foxie,
I have a brest friend nursing pillow. You're welcome to have it. The slipcover is blue stripe print so it wouldn't be weird for you to use it when you're out with ds2.

It's still in pretty good nick because I only used it for a month or so.

suejonez · 11/04/2007 10:28

Mellow did you walk back from Kew mothercare past Kew green cos if you did then I saw you (see my earlier post below) - I thought you had a double!

Stepford - I dropped DS at my mums house this morning and forgot to look for your house to wave. And I didn't think you looked like a man, much.

I also htought your DS's were great, mine however was in a very grumpy mood - he skipped his afternoon nap which is never good for any of us and particularly for Puds dS who he has a tendancy to terrorise.

ComeOVeneer · 11/04/2007 10:46

Morning all. We are off to Bushy park today for a walk and apicnic. Whilst I was preparing the food ds has been down in the playroom. Some how the little (insert a rude word of your choice here) has found some markers (I thought they were all out of his reach) and has decorated the walls. It won't come off so we will have to repaint the room. It must be a boy thing as we never had this problem with dd.

stepfordwife · 11/04/2007 11:11

hi everyone
sue - wasn't in to see your lack of waving as at the dentist. sad when your "me" time is having root canal work done, isn't it!?...

foxie - your ds2 is so lush has made me feel quite broody. NO! NO! NO!
make
it
go
away

suejonez · 11/04/2007 11:24

oh and thanks to those who put the idea of having a poo in the bath in DS's head yesterday

Paddlechick666 · 11/04/2007 11:28

lol @ sue.

well thanks to you i ended up having fishfingers and oven chips for tea.

talk about auto suggestion!

mellow2 · 11/04/2007 12:07
