he's so funny when he's doing somehting he's knows is wrong he looks up at me and shakes his head (as if somehow that will head me off!)

ComeOVeneer · 30/03/2007 19:55

Quiches made. One with smoked salmon and sinach, one with roasted med. veggies. Looking forward to seeing everyone (first day of the school holidays for us here).

nopudstilleaster · 30/03/2007 20:01

Ds will do something he knows he's not supposed to, then look round and smile as though that makes it ok!

Well done on the quiches, CoV, they sound delicious!

suejonez · 30/03/2007 20:08

are they big quiches cos I wouldn;t like to have to fight over them

Eleusis · 30/03/2007 20:40

I will have you all know that I have just washed the kitchen floor in God only knows how long. All in your honour.

ComeOVeneer · 30/03/2007 20:42

DH is currently upset that there isn't any for him. He is getting a few hours to himself tomorrow afternoon. Isn't that enough?

Eleusis · 30/03/2007 20:43

I will have you all know that I have just washed the kitchen floor for the first time in God only knows how long. All in your honour.

Must learn to type!

Eleusis · 30/03/2007 20:43

Yes, it is enough.

Eleusis · 31/03/2007 08:35

mornin' everyone!

Where is my sun??????

suejonez · 31/03/2007 10:05

well its beginning to brighten up in Kew so maybe the sun is headed your way now.

Are you the turning opposite the large venue with animals? Trying not to give away location to wierd stalker types...

Eleusis · 31/03/2007 10:26

yes, my road is between bp station and main gate to that large venue on opposite side of road.

ComeOVeneer · 31/03/2007 10:33

Morning everyone. Sun shinning here . DD got her and ds breakfast in bed (brioche rolls, fruit, milk and juice) eaten in his cot, and didn't wakr dh and I until 9.30am. FAB . See everyone in a while.

suejonez · 31/03/2007 19:21

lovely afetrnoon Eleusis - sorry to cut and run leaving you with the washing up (though I did at least leave you with some carrot cake).

We missed you foxie - but it was really, really dull and no gossip and you would have hated it really 9honest ). Sorry you have such a miserable day - I'll try to cheer you up with cous-cous tomorrow

suejonez · 31/03/2007 19:25

ds was so wiped out after his afternoon but still only slept for 5 mins in the car then wouldn't nap when we got home so distracted him with a quick visit to friedns who live in the same road and have a tame dog. Keep him busy and non-grizzly until bath time.

Now he's in bed and singing to himself in a voice so high pitched its waking up dogs all over the neighbourhood.

He is definitely taking steps now, only one or two but i think the boy may be finally on the move

ComeOVeneer · 31/03/2007 19:34

Hi all. Ele thanks for a lovely afternoon. Ds was almost asleep by the time we got home (only took 15mins). He had a 30 min nap then was ubbly as anything. He is in bed now, dd watching a movie with dh (who didn't do any of the chores, surprise surprise). I must apologise again for ds's behaviour towards the boys, and or stealing Nanou's dd's biscuit .

Eleusis · 31/03/2007 19:47

We had a nice time too. Enjoyed having everyone. I was going to let DD and DS have some carrot cake after dinner but they have both protested eating dinner -- so not treats for them. Little buggers.

No need to apologise for your DS. Someone needs to toughen up my momma's boy.

suejonez · 31/03/2007 19:48

oh yes and I should apologise for DS stealing Eleusis' DS biscuit too and can you beleive after all he eat he still polish a (smallish) plate of spag bol and a pot of yoghurt for tea!

Paddlechick666 · 31/03/2007 22:29

sorry to have missed today, i would've loved to have seen everyone.

the slingmeet was great tho, very educational. also was hoping to meet a mum from ealing who i am trying to subvert onto mumsnet but unfortunately she wasn't there.

Hello all,

I would have loved to join you guys yesterday but I'm still exhausted from work.

Thankfully, I finished yesterday and once I'm feeling better, I should be up for meeting up with everyone again.

Here are two new threads for a brand new month.
