Had to create a new thread as we've already filled the old one!

2cute, I would love to meet up with you and your ds but I have my NCT coffee this afternoon and once ds has woken up from his nap, I have to go sort out my MIL's bday present.

Are you free next week at all?

Well, if he's not well he can't fight back!

sfxmum · 24/02/2007 12:16

'i am not well' sounds like 'i am fragil so please don't start anything' sorry to be cynical

about the plumbing it appears it is a problem for our upstairs neighbour, we had talked to her and she had denied any responsibility but now she just came to apologize and own up i hope she gets it sorted before it messes our wiring

Paddlechick666 · 24/02/2007 12:26

you might be right sfx, i will check his symptoms on arrival!

foxie, my thoughts exactly!!

looks like Snakes & Ladders this arvo for us then if anyone fancies joining.....

Thank god for pingu, dd has been a treasure this morning.

pudding77 · 24/02/2007 14:57

I've just had to abandon my trip to the science museum as ds was getting so tired but he wouldn't sleep as there was too much going on. Brought him back now (not taking him on the tube again until he's much older!) and he fell asleep at the top of the road and carried on sleeping while I changed his nappy & put him to bed [awwww].

Hope everyone else is having a good weekend!

just a quickie.

weekend going great. dh came with us to snakes and ladders and they're all in the bath now!

he's been a lot better healthwise but i know he's putting in a great effort. he's got a rash all over eek!

dinner and Nanny McFee and popcorn later and we're off to The Lookout tomorrow.

We've talked a bit as well so here's hoping huh.

hope you all have a nice evening.

foxabout2pop · 24/02/2007 18:33

Puds - fell asleep on top of the road???!!!

Paddle - glad its going well and DH is at least talking and making an effort. Seems like its two steps forward one step back atm. Have great evening with him [hugs]

I've developed a rash on my shins/calves - very odd itchy red marks...

Pelvis is bloody killing me

Stayed in today but managed to entertain DCs with plasticine and painting

Hope everyone is enjoying their weekend

pudding77 · 24/02/2007 18:34

That was supposed to be at the top of the road, in his pushchair obviously!

Hi Paddle, glad things are going well.

I was supposed to go out for sushi tonight (yum yum -- I love sushi) but my friends baby is sick so she cancelled, so now I'm all dressed up, have DH lined up for free babysitting and I have nowhere to go . Oh well.

pudding77 · 24/02/2007 18:35

[hugs] paddle - hope he carries on being well behaved for the rest of the weekend.

Foxie - have you ever suffered with ezcema (sp)? Just sounds a bit similar to what I have when I have an ezcema attack.

foxabout2pop · 24/02/2007 19:01

Hi Eleusis - you can chat on MN dressed up

Puds - I do occassionally get ecsma - maybe you are right. I put some Anthisan on it which has stopped the itching anyway. Glad you've corrected me about where DS fell asleep

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:08

Hello - you can always come here Ele but I'm not dressing up for you! Just put one v v tired DS to bed. He had one nap at 1pm for 45 mins and that was reluctantly. He has been tired all day I just don;t know how that boy keeps going on so little sleep during the day. Hope it sorts itself out eventually as he isn't easy when he's tired!

Eleusis · 24/02/2007 19:11

Can you make me sushi?

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:12

well I've got some basmatu rice in teh cupboard - could maybe mulch some together with some soy sauce?

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:12

Oh and a tin of tuna - sorted then. What time will you be here?

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:14

Forgot to say thank you for the "stuff" most of it fitted him really well - a bit is too small/will be too small when its summer so will pass it on to another friend.

Shoes are already too small! My boy has long feet I think in comparison to his body

Eleusis · 24/02/2007 19:14

ACtually, I would love to come round. But, publice transport from me to you and back isn't very good. And I've already had a beer so can't drive.

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:21

Make it another evening and don;t start on the beers... I have no life - I'm always in...

Eleusis · 24/02/2007 19:25

Is D a good sleeper? I could come round on a work night after you put him down and we could have a chit chat then? Thuirsdays are good for my 'cause DH is usually home. Or Fridays are okay too.

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:26

He is a pretty good sleeper so yes after work would be fine - he is generally asleep by 7pm latest 7.15 at the moment. Thursdays are usually good for me.

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:27

Fridays no problem either - Naomi No-mates here!

foxabout2pop · 24/02/2007 19:29

Well I'm just about to have my fave meal atm - waitrose ready meal curry - yum!!

Followed by fresh pineapple

suejonez · 24/02/2007 19:31

Am just about to trawl through my bare cupboard and find something then settle down to watch wales get thrashed in teh rugby.

foxabout2pop · 24/02/2007 21:11

pudding77 · 24/02/2007 22:04

I've just watched England get thrashed in the rugby but still better than sat watching my nephew play nintendo!

quokka - it was a sponge with raspberry jam and buttercream and chocolate frosting. I don't think I will be doing it again anytime soon though as I found it quite hard work and not nearly rewarding as cooking meals. I think it is all that waiting.

I am exhausted, dd1's party went really well, although the food provided was not great. If I ever went back there for a party would definitely bring some extra food along like sandwiches! There 17 of them in total and most of the parents went off to the cafe where dh brought them coffees and teas. Lucky them I did not get a drink until we finally got home!

Am off now to sleep so night all and hope everyone has a good sunday. As normal have no idea what is going on in the thread as never have enough time to keep up!
